I miss 90's all star games, sick games, sick players: mutombo, mj, pippen, payton, shaq, the 2 hardaways, ritchmond, mourning, rodman, even the annoying reggie miller, it was a real show
he's my favorite of all time too....people are stupid for saying anything bad about pippen, no way bulls or jordan would've done what they did without him. How can u leave out the 2nd best player of one of the best nba dynasties?? theres lakers, celtics and then bulls...leaving pippen out and put who instead? bunch of players who never won ?
one of the most painful sights in sports is seeing your hero get old. might not be age, but the can just pass them, make them a relic. ali getting dropped by holmes, L.T. getting run over by ricky watters, and pippen then with the rockets getting owned by kobe in the playoffs.
ref. 8:30, krause was a trip. everyone wanted a guy from those great croatian teams. they were so loaded then. krause was no different. the killer was that he payed toni more than pip, and if i'm not mistaken, he payed toni more than mike as well which was a precursor to mike just breaking the damn bank and getting like 35 mil for a season.
scottie had an awesome all around year in '94. he was all-star mvp. let's leave it there. ref. 7:05, ain't no damn way he was worthy of league mvp instead of olajuwon. two different classes of player. what if kobe, or drexler, or ron harper with the clippers for that matter were only required of their team to be stoppers and ball handlers? with what we know now, we'd say that they underachieved. scottie had immense talent and a limited role to fill. he overflowed the cup, however small.
So much for that great respect huh Scottie since according to you MJ was just a great scorer and Lebron is the most dominate player on both ends of the court and clutch that you ever saw. This why I keep saying anybody over the age of 21 should stay off twitter lol
some are trying to decide if Pippen is in the top 50???? R U kidding me. He better be in everyone's top 10!!!! BEST FORWARD IN THE GAME. my fav player, thanks for posting
Scottie Pippen is one of the greatest SF of all time, him and mike pushed each other and raised each others games scottie deserves the HOF and everything that comes along with it
Mr Versatile Scottie Pippen was the reason that I got into watchin nba in the 90's, I was gutted when he left the bulls and then later retired but I will always have my memories of him playing (especially 72-10 season) I have always loved watchin the bulls play but when the dream team left the bulls were never the same after that....Pip and MJ were in my eyes the best duo in the nba period and he brought out the best in all of his team mates...he was and always will be a true legend
Bulls wouldn't have won 1 w/o Pip... In 91 wouldn't have won w/o Pip stopping Magic in the finals. In 92 wouldn't have won w/o Pip leading the comeback vs Portland in game 6, in 93 wouldn't have made finals if Pip wasn't there to stop Charles Smith under the hoop - blocking him 3 straight times, in 96 wouldnt have won w/o Pips 20 ppg, in 97 wouldn't have won w/o his last second steal in game 6, and in 98 w/o Pip... who would have been there to carry Jordan off the court in the flu game?
8 titles and only TWO hall of famers? There has to be one more. If Rodman were not about drama and craziness, he should be there as the greatest rebounder of all time.
@n0gar Rodman must be hall of famer!... and i think Kukoc also as intrnational candidate. He is the best european player in history (and has more medals then any player in history)
I've always hated the way Scottie has always been looked at as a "sidekick" player (much like Pau Gasol in L.A.) when in actuality he was a GREAT player in his own right. And as you pointed out, that '94 season is often forgotten, butScottie was a BEAST that year. Pushing the KNICKS to a game 7? Simply put, as great as Jordan is/was, without Pip, Jordan doesn't have 6 rings. But, anway, glad he's getting his just due. Great video.
Great Job man......... nice video

Who thinks Kevin Durant is the second coming of Scottie Pippen?
sumskater999 5 months ago
@sumskater999 Yeah he is the second coming of Scottie Pippen. If Scottie Pippen played today he would have scored 25 points a night in todays nba.
