I think the purpose of this clip was to promote the show and it's characters, not to emphasize the song being played. Appreciate what's going on, and not just the music. Maybe, they did just create the song for the advertisement, and if they didn't, who are you to call it out?

I did originally think Stardust when I saw the commercial for the first time. It makes the commercial seem ultra exciting. I love how each contestant was featured in a sequence. The season has a lot to live up to in comparison with this shiny promo.

I seriously doubt that song was something "they just created for the show", unless BT decided to moonlight as a food network employee to help pay the bills. Not to mention you don't hear all this commotion over Diners Drive-ins and Dives do ya? I posted a question on Yahoo answers and it looks like no one knows.

The sample in the background does sound like Deepest Blue or Stardust would've done that song, but the lyrics are new. I tried to search for those lyrics and nothing pops up.

I hope food network releases the song. I know I'm crazy about it and it seems that everyone else is also.

You have to listen to Deepest Blue, the bass line is EXACTLY the Same. Better with you doesn't follow the right notes.

It's none of those songs people mentioned below. It's stock music licensed from a music production house in NYC. However, I do know that the producer of the track is looking to re-record and release this with Food Network's blessing. Stay tuned!

and no, this isn't a remix of stardust "music sounds better with you". westecld was correct. it does sound similar but the hook isn't the same at all. remixes don't change the core elements of the song.

I spend a day calling up the Food network and they kept giving me general answers such as. Because of copyright laws most of their music is composed for the purpose of a specific show. Then I got told that they can not give any information about music due to copyright laws. So I don't know where to look now.
