What if... our entire universe exists within a macroscopic particle collider... like the Large Hadron Collider?
Our universe is the result of some sort of particles being accelerated by beings who exist in another dimension outside our scope of comprehension... The big bang is the direct result of and experiment to collide particles.
To these beings, our universe exists for only a nano second... but on our scale, we experience creation as lasting for trillions of years...
We are those other beings colliding particles in the Large Hadron Collider?
In other words, in 2012 there will be a special experiment to find the ultimate particle that only existed during the big bang... and at that very instance the experiment is carried out... All time on our scale will end as the big bang is recreated... and within that big bang we will start the whole cycle over again...
It's all one recursive fractal happening over and over again for infinity.
@batfly that is a awesome and mindblowing idea, and yet entirely possible! life is so weird. we know far less about the universe now than early man knew about the earth thousands of years ago. the more we know, the less we understand.
You do have some very amazing bugs in your garden! Amazing close up photography and music goes really well with it. I think you could definitely have a career making movies or writing soundtracks.
There are some big differences in comparing an ant colony to a Human colony...
1. Humans have more advanced technology
2. Humans have art such as Music, painting, sculpting, movies etc.
3. Humans have science, we study other life forms and try to make comparisons to our own life from.
I would love to find another species on Earth that does all these things too...
What if there are microscopic nano civilizations more advanced than humans?
Wouldn't that be interesting?
