Actually, the SNK side wasn't just KOF. Hell, only 7 KOF characters were on the SNK side, compared to the 20 Street Fighter characters Capcom dished out. Characters like Terry and Ryo ain't originally KOF, so they don't count as KOF characters. If anything, CvS is Street Fighter Plus 4 Guests vs. SNK.
NxC is chock full of familiar voices. The same guy does Demitri, Donovan, Joe, Batsu and Janga for one. Then there's Jin's actor doing Jedah, Dio and Kyosuke. Too bad Wakamoto doesn't do Bison in that game.
