While I agree with a lot Kucinich's platform, there's a reason why he'll never be president, and why he does so bad at the polls. I'm from Cleveland and I think it says a lot about a candidate when you don't get support even in your own region. In the Cleveland area he's known as being possibly the worst mayor in the city's history, as well has having major money management problems.

One way to reduce the cost of gas may be that rather than spend 500 billion dollars on war, that money could be invested into re-building transportation infrastructure in areas with the most gasoline consumption. Doesn't it seem that by simply focusing on alternative means of transporting each other and goods that less gasoline gets used, thus creating more supply which leads to lower prices?
