Last time I heard someone talk about the value of wool, it was less than the cost of shearing because of the availability of wool from abroad where costs are much lower. However, the people who have colored sheep often are spinners and weavers and they charge premium prices for the work of their labor.
@sageeagle I can't see how they couldn't . While they aren't the brightest of animals, a major part of their weight is removed and the shearer is turning them around like they were in a wrestling match!
Is there a market for the partially colored wool or is it useless?
