@sophie8739 This show uses Disney's Fast Pass system. You have to get a Fast Pass ticket (which is totally free) in the beginning of the day to have a guaranteed spot for World of Color.

I thought the world of colors was Okay. To be honest, the road shows that promoted the world of colors were better. The water show was fantastic. It was truly is "Wonderful, Beautiful, Colorful." I couldn't have asked more. The only thing that brought me down was the animation. The transitions were awful and it didn't make sense. With this fault, the music didn't make sense either.

The transitions did make sense. Under the Sea transitioned into Crush surfing, and that transitioned into Dory speaking whale, and that transitioned into the Flying Whales of Fantasia 2000, and so on

Even the scene from Up transitioned into another scene that takes place in the sky, "A Whole New World"

It was really pretty made me cry at the lion king part. The only thing i didnt like was it wasted a lot of time getting the fastpass and waiting in line to watch it, Probably like 3 hours or more just to watch this -.-... Anyways It reminded me of when i was kid, wish they added hercules or mulan xD and pocahontas when shes floating in the wind when they were playing color of the wind.

I gave this a 2/10, it didn't live up to the hype... it closed all the rides for the world of color a show that I didn't find that exciting. i men I probably wouldn't hate it as much if they didn't close the rides. Plus, if they change the music... it could be better.

It was recently announced that two of the rides in Paradise Pier (Toy Story Midway Mania and Mulholland Madness) will remain open during World of Color.

Some of the rides in that area have to be closed during the show becuase they are close to the water.

Its not like all the rides in the park are closed.

ahhh man! I just found out that Disney's California Adventure will be closing at 8pm starting after Labor Day. They will close at 8pm from Mondays-Thursdays! From Friday-Sunday it will be closing at 10pm to play one performance of the show! So everyone listen up! If you're going after Labor Day, better check out the Disneyland entertainment calendar!

@CanadianAiden World of Color is beautiful and incredible but it is not original. All the fountains used in this show were invented for Bellagio 12 years ago. There is nothing really new here. Dancing fountains have been done. Bellagio sometimes uses colored lights and project images on their water but they try to keep it simple, stunning, and classy. I am not saying World of Color is a bad show but is is not original and is way overhyped. Many DisneyFans didn't love. Check Micechat for proof.

That doesn't prove anything. Most people on Micechat are extremely critical and never like anything that Disney does.

The important thing is that it is a good show, and that it is a hit with the general public.

This show is AMAZING! We waited in line at California Adventure before it opened two times while we were there so we could get our show passes, and we got the blue zone both times! Never again will I think that fountains synced to music are cool after I've seen this :)

Yeah, I live in Florida and I do go to WDW often. As amazing as this show, is I rather, this show stay at DCA and not be duplicated. Besides, There's not much wrong with IllumiNations, and Wishes. I'd like to see, upgrades to these shows, and a replacement (that isn't not WOC) for Fantasmic. These parks need to maintain their originality imo.

One thing that's great about World of Color if you are a regular at Disneyland is that Disney can't just pack it up and movie it to another park like they did with the much beloved Main Street Electrical Parade (later known as Disney's Electrical Parade when they moved it to California Adventure.

@ericarocklover64. Yes. You have to get fastpasses for the show. Located at Grizzly River Run. I haven't been to Disneyland for a long time, but I suggest getting it first before you get other fastpasses for the rides. You will be assigned at a section.
