@kaira210 I don't think many Americans have even heard of them. From what I've briefly read it seems they tour mostly in Europe and South America. I came here because it was the background music for an unrelated video and I thought "this is great. who is it?"

shaunwjin is right. Too much mainstream on the radio = too little exposure for incredible music like this. If they were to open for a big name band in the US, like the wiki says they have done in Europe, they would get a lot more exposure.

@arazu88 I too agree. I found this on accident after I found another band and it was on the related videos. I only wish that they were even touring America. Sadly, all we have here is just what the media exposes us to. I think that music is like a plague that infects each one that it touches. Here in America we have such plagues such as beiber fever, nickelbackitis, and spears syphilis to name a few. It is very sad and I only wish we could get bands like this, but it is only a dream.

@chandygarcia As of now, rock music was made for its listeners to stand out, while pop / hip-hop was engineered for its listeners to fit in. That's why (as a teenager myself) I notice that the majority of those around me drown themselves in pop music. Among schoolmates, 3 out of like 400+ facebook friends like Sirenia :P

dude the new album is still gothic metal I agree that it is a bit up tempo than usual gothic metal style (with doom metal influences) but still I think its good I mean the lyrics of the songs are still somewhat gothic but yeah if I want real dark gothic metal I'd rather listen to Tristania
