Holy crap...some of the men have short haircuts, marijuana plants don't grow berries, an Ice Age is an era, not a location, and Asian cavemen didn't speak fluent English either. It's a silly, good movie. Shall we go on? The pteradactyl egg was WAY too big to come out of the mother that laid it, you can't walk across a surface hot enough to fry an egg, an entire tribe can't instinctively know where an improvised campfire melody will go, you can't burn your finger like a torch...

This movie came out when I was turning 18 years old, and I wanted to go see it, but no one wanted to go see it with me. I did watch it in 1982 on cable (late at night) & nearly died laughing at it (it was shortly before "Cheers" started on NBC & this was my introduction to Shelley Long). Ringo though makes this movie, literally and figuritively. (The injokes about being stoned are priceless). I have to watch again someday soon on youtube.
