and looking at this gameplay, it doesnt look that difficult. not to insult the player of this, but it looks like you just shoot them a few times, hit them with the sword a couple of times and bamo, your allready in showtime. in dmc3, you had to do some pretty impressive stuff to get a showtime or other high scoring marks like that.
The series order is 3,1,anime,4,2 so I'd say that they didn't forget what happened before they just left it opened , and who knows maybe some day they will release a new game

@vader329 Obviously enemies are gonna be easy it the start of the Game, also he already has the Strong sword you get near the end of the game as its hes 2nd playthrough, this game is not easy, and btw the reason why Trish, and the Sparda sword are not there is because DMC 2 is set a few hundred years after DMC 4 he went separate ways, and maybe left the Sword in Trish possession.
actullay in the story line dmc 2 is the last one in the story so Dante may have grown up and became more mature unlike his younger self in dmc 3 and 4

Actually no problem with the controls, only problem is that there's too much delay in the slashes making it hard to evade. But try watching True Style Tournament DMC2, they're really amazing. I think this is the DMC that is hard to connect STYLES cuz after 1-2 seconds the gauge is already gone xD
maybe they thought it was a little unneeded and also most of the area's of the game just wouldn't have had any use for it, i mean with Nero's Devil Bringer making him zip here and there and Dante just going back the same way, so they must have just tossed away the idea...but you never know they mite find a use for it in DMC5 (which i think is inevitably going to be made lol)
this game is very good is not bassed on action like de dmc 3 or 4, is more of suspense and a little bit of terror maybe the history is very predictible but it was a good game one of the best in the ps2

Lucia or however it's spelled was a horrible char to include, and just having Trish as a side character and not even in the plot sucked.

it toke me 8 straight hours to get a ss rank on m1 because of the camera and then darn rolling blades but in those 8 hours i realized a secret to raising your rank fast just high time and helm breaker all the enemy's mix a little style for a quick rank boost works best with cage guys.nice vid tho

go to the level where you are escaping the oil derick, at one part you are in a small circular romm, go around the rim, and it will be in someone's body, actually, you might be able to do it on the level before that so you don't have to rush, i hop i helped :)

THAT, was a nice job. No damage really and pretty fast. The best thing about it is that you didn't use any items. Kudos on getting an S rank on one of the easiest missions.
Well the game isn't really that bead. People criticize it becuase "The guns are too powerfull". That's a load of bull. Their only powerful becuase people level them up. At level one, Ebony and Ivory are as strong/weaker than Ebony and Ivory in DMC1. And it's just that when you used all those Devil Stars in the fight against Arius 1, I didn't think they were all really neccesary. Maybe one at most, but 5 or 6....
you can beat Arius 1 on DMD with S rank and no item use? I really dont care how many devil stars I used, as I said my goal is S rank for every mission on DMD, if you want to see no item use no damage gameplays then check my DMC1 or DMC3 DMD videos...
Diud you not read the comment I left on your Arius 1 fight? Obviously not. I've watched some of your videos but of the ones I've watched, none have really stood out to me except a few DMC2 ones. I'll continue watching more of your vids and giving my 2 cents on them.
hm. interesting. DMC2... rolling is nice to move forwards, but i dont like the battles.. they are not as exciting as in DMC3.. and, i think the graphics of DMC1 are better than the ones of DMC2. But well done on your S rank.. I got bored of this game after, like, 7 missions..
