WE are getting ready for the next semester with our guruji Pt. Anindo Chatterjee!. Starting this Tuesday september 20th you can join us for classes in TriBeCa in NYC but anyone around the world can take the classes online. You also get a full online archive of al the material taught in class with a video demostration, bols written out, and a real nagma player to practice with! Both Anindo Chatterjee and Ramesh Mishra are, apart from their instrumental abilities, nice people. I am tell you that because I know both of them by person. True gentlemen...
At the darbar festival? I wish I could have been there, I had to settle for a video recording! I'll definitely be attending his solo this year though!
Wah wah...kyabat (as they say in india)....one of the greats...what sets him apart is the clarity....also what beautiful tone.........what i love also is that melody in the background...is it a specific raag?.....if so then i would aprreciate if somone could tell me its name....peace.......

How does one arrange to study with masters such as these?
MrDotDot 3 years ago
I think you have to be an advanced level player first. Then go find him.
