  • cool job im in virginia and they run purple lights on hearses and limos.some still use amber and a few hearses also have clear strobes in the headlights and tail lights.

  • Hi,My hobby is warning lights and I also outfit cars with purple lights for funeral processions.I was wondering what roof light model it is and where you got the purple sealed-beam bulbs and grille lights.I love the car!Late '80s/early '90s Cadillac S&S hearses are the best looking hearses there are.

  • Thanks for the comments...The roof beacon is a North American Signal, model 250 that I got off e-bay...The bulbs in the beacon are the regular clear sealed beams...I airbrushed them with transparent purple paint..I don't use it very often, just car shows, parades, Halloween, stuff like that...The paint is holding up really well for now....The grille lights I got from an Indianapolis police officer..He does installations on undercover cars, and set me up with those...Thanx, Bill
