i would have loved it if apple had re-released this in 07 with an intel chip and up to standard ram and hdd space and rebranded it has the thirtieth anniversary mac..but sadly this will only ever be a pipe dream of mine

If I were you, I would get annother Mac. Even in the US, they go for thousands of dollars. Anyway, the macs I would recommend are: Mac SE FDHD/ Mac SE Superdrive, Mac SE/30, Mac Classic, Mac Classic II, Mac Color Classic, or anything in the Mac II line.

@kiltsonfire164 10 were sent to Oz in 97, but plenty have been imported since then. I'd estimate at least 50 maybe now... I imported mine new in 98 during the "firesale" (when Steve said GET RID OF THOSE TAMS!). If you check out Mactalk website, you'll find a big Ozzy TAM thread...

ahhh i remeber these... with the leather CD case and the leather on the keyboard. this was the cadillac of all computers. exepth the touch pad. i engoy the good ol mouse. i replaced mine with a mouse
