The lyrics depict a character, presumably a fashion model, who is upset with herself because she( based on the video she's presumably talking to herself) is projecting a false, destructive image to... I'm going to guess "americas youth" or some such? And she's gotten sick of it because it's the exact opposite of who she is as a person. In other words, she's "living a lie".

I can completely relate to this song. As a kid I used to hide my feelings because I was afraid of what my cruel family would think of me. I would always put on a smile when I was depressed. As a teen, I broke out of my shell hoping that everyone would except me for who I am. Now, I realize what a messed up family I have. At the same time, I finally know who my true friends really are
