If the weather was as tartan candy box postcard great all year round - as is beautifully selected here - Scotland would be crammed with local income-generating tourists.... and huge coastline resorts developments.
Fantastic place been there 7 times, the best view in the world, the Cuillin of Skye. My pal Dougie Halliday worked with the John Muir Trust for five years and lived in the house at Kilmarie just up the road.
Beautiful place but go at the wrong time of year and you will be eaten alive by midges beware!

Great pictures -- thanks for posting them!
Walked into Loch Scavaig and Loch Coruisk from Elgol in August 2004 -- easily the best scenery in the whole of the UK.
