with tethered its almost pointless.... because one of the only reasons i jailbroke was for themes, and with tethered everytime it turns off it has to b restored, and when i install winterboard it has to turn off so its a paradox of restoring nd re jailbreaking

you dont have to restore it evertime u switch it off, u just have to go to the ``black ra1n app and click make it ra1n again

well the best awsner to that question is that black ra1n dosent always work on diffrent devices, since apple is coming out with newer model #'s and other stuff to try to block jailbreaks,, maybe try my other jailbreak vid

did the jailbreak work? and then it went to recovery mode? if so its because 3G is a tethered jailbreak, that means yuu will have to plug your device into ur computer and click make it ra1n everytime u want to switch your ipod on -- 3g users oonly, + some 2g

yeah it worked and then rebooted like it said it would then went into the recovery mode. but how do i get it out of tethered jailbreak so i can actually access it, my phone is frozen in recovery mode until i restore it. do you mean i have to use blackra1n to jailbreak it, then to get out of recovery mode run blackra1n again?

lol thats not it, go to settings> General> About> and scroll down and see what the model is, it should have letters and numbers

hmmm ive had alot users ask me why winterboard is causing problems, i am currently in the state of figuring out why. I do know that winterboard will not work on any 3G / 3GS models at the moment,. Aslo try re-storing then re-jailbreaking, ill message you on how to get custom firmware 3.1.2.
