Then on the A string hammered on 5th then 8th fret, then pulled off back to 5th. That make sense? Let me know if it doesn't, I can try to say it differently. That's about as far as I got though xD

You can order his arrangements from his website. I find them very challenging as they use techniques that are new to me. I find I must do some simplification. He makes it look easy as he is a master (national fingerstyle champ, and classical champ). University of NM must have a killer guitar program!

i dont think that's the point. technically, its not incredibly hard, though still fairly challenging IMO.

i think its incredible how he composed it- its just a well-written piece that accurately captures all of the original and puts a new spin on it, making it sound familiar yet new. he's a talented person, fersure.

I think it might be a Kevin Ryan. It looks like his R on the headstock. Those guitars cost a good bit of money. Something like 6-8 grand to get a sniff. Pat Donohue played one prior to getting the Martin endorsement and Eric Lugosch plays one. They are revered.
