or easier way to get a house in bruma go to baeilins house next to house for sale just kill baelin and gromm it is not considered a crime to kill them for some reason maybe because of dark brotherhood quest. and you can use the containers and beds note: containers are not highlitaed red so its ok to use them without (stealing) and the bed is also useable.

@TheGreatHeroKing the guards wont attack or ask for a fine it just gives you a chance to kill lachancer or become a member of the dark brotherhood and become a vampire. if you kill him you can take his stuff.

Also heres some advice if you use conjuration go to the mystic emporium shop in imperial city market district and buy summon zombie and keep summoning till you master conjuration, than join the mages guild, go to bruma's mages guild and buy summon dremora lord. Its the best spell in the game for sumoning.

Sometimes you have to bribe or persuade a bit. 15 fame is required to get Skingrad house and Anvil house is quest related.

That happens to me with some games too. It might just be that there is something that isn't large enough for the game to run on. i.e. graphics card, internet speed (not with oblivion though), and maybe just the computer itself.

i had the same problem and solved it but you have to cheat. first press ` then type in player.placeatme 00026b1b in the store and it should help if u infest 500g to both people

I quess you have already visited the house after buying it. Then quest is updated for buying upgrades.

Suurootan is available 8am to 8pm every day of the week, so if he isn't, I can't think of anything else than bug.

If it is a bug, maybe you have to quit game and return to old save before this quest, and try again.
