I just want to point out that metformin is a $4 a month prescription at Wal-Mart. Even without health insurance most people can afford this. Your video sort of gives the impression that this medication is very expensive. It is not!
75% of the people in my fam have diabetes, type I and type II as well, so I've been pretty sure I'm at the pre-diabetes stage at the moment. Been in denial about it but the symptoms are there. Just figured I'd lose weight and not have to worry about it. I never thought to go low GI! This is the best video. You're so awesome. :) xoxo
