I think aside from the Egg Emperor mk. II and the Doomsday Zone, Lava Reef's final boss is my favorite boss. Those were all such unique experiences, and I really loved 'em.

i was playing as tails in the doomsday zone and got stuck against the back of the screen so i used debug to get past this glitch and i went pass the metal knuckles thing with the master emerald then it said i won and the master emerald stayed in space and tails landed on the tornado upsidedown!!! lol

Nice I subscribed so I could watch your video Sonic 1 Boss Run with Sonic. These games are so glitchy. Of course all games are glitchy. According to Hellfire-comms and Fastestthingalive there's a rumar if you jump aroung in Tails' workshop (Sonic Adventure) Nack the Weasel or Fang the Sniper (same guy) will appear. I believe I remember doing that one day long ago before I started youtubing like 2 years go.

From a gameplay standpoint, that is a really retarded way to hit the boss.

But it's possible.

I've also heard that if you keep jumping at the barrier, you might get a couple of frames where you can actually jump FROM the barrier, then you can jump over and to Robotnik. That can be done without taking damage.

If you look at it in a certain way, you would think he hit the red bar obstacles that serve as the launching pad. It's not a bad alternative.
