Very true. Every guitarist i know personally has started with that song. I myself didn't have the access to it. Self taught actually. Only scale i know is pentatonic, other than that I just play notes that sound good together for solos.... i've definitely improved in the couple of years i've been playin'.... check out my vid "cryptic reality at tidballs"... look at how god awful i was. lol!

@monkeywrench97 Fast doesn't mean he is good, most of the time he uses a pick on the bass which makes it 1: easier, and 2: sound like shit. I think he is average at bass, he has a lot of room for improvement, but A7X doesn't utilize the bass all that much, which I think they should try to incorporate more, but who knows if A7X is gonna be a band in another year =(
