i think that the song jordan in gh2 took away from buckethead being well known because that song doesnt have the emotion that some of his other songs have.... buckethead is the beast
I was on video call with my girlfriend, and I sent her the link to this song. after a few minutes, I asked her if she liked it, and she said "downloading it as we speak" I love her so much, and this song makes me remember how happy I am whenever I'm with her. <3
This is easily the most incredible song I've have ever heard. and the fact that this guy can rock so damn hard, then turn around and make you shed a tear with emotion like this. it just blows me away
Man, I wish more people would get into Buckethead. I WANT him to play this live, I WANT him to be more on youtube, I WANT his songs to get more credit, I WANT more Buckethead :(
My religion is Music :) Buckethead is a missiah to me. I thank God, Eswar or Allah whoever is up there becoz he gave me sense and ears so that i can enjoy buckets blessings on me.
It's funny, I always saw Buckethead as a weird guy so i never listened to him. Man was I missing out. So glad I decided to give Buckethead a chance, truly amazing.
Beautiful song, the entire cd is one of the most beautiful musical creations ever recorded by anyone. Cool job on the video, & very interesting story how it came together, I like!
The Mask thing is awsome, because from the start he wanted people to focus on his Music, and not on him, if you know what i mean, unlike many of other artists. And this another great song, and God knows that i love every single work done by this man, not because that i love him and that i should automaticly love all of his work, bu man this guy get me everytime i listen to any of his songs, he's just a pure A R T I S T.
But what really did happen is that people got more focused on his mask and bucket and playing along to his "ultra-fast" songs while using a game controller vagely reminiscent of a guitar.
you know what, i also hers of BH for the first time when I heard Jordan on Guitar HEro 2,after a while I downloadad Crime slunk scene (because of soothsayer XD), i loved the entire album, then I downloaded Colma, LOVED IT, a few weeks ago I downloadad Electric Tears and now I cant stop raping the replay button XD
I wish we could send Bucket back in time, to meet some of the most famous composers ever. Mozart, Beehtoven, etc. They would sit and listen to this beautiful mental/emotional tapestry layed before them by the most brilliant and innovative musician of all god damn time. They would have killed to be able to create this kind of sound, Not to discredit them, of course. But damn, In a hundred years, I hope that they have posters with the best composers. And on that board should be Buckethead.
@HogJuice66 Reading this post gave me shivers. As I feel the same way about Buckethead. I've studied him for years now, and still cannot get enough. Cheers to you for sharing. -Curtis
I don't think it really matters "who the best guitarist is" at all. Why can't we simply enjoy the unique art that each guitarist brings to offer and find respect for each of the masters.
@Penpy I must say , Penpy...that is EXACTLY how I feel about it. There are way too many good players from so many styles..for e.g Flamenco, Classical, Jazz etc. I do luv BH versatility and melodies. Simply beautiful.
You boys are arguing about whos better at the guitar?? comparing to the great master buckethead???...thats so silly, i mean there is a lot of good guitarists out there but buckethead just takes it to a whole new level. remember he aint human!!!!!
HEY!! SHUT THE MOTHER FUCK UP! YOU ARE RUINING THIS SONG. BY READING YALLS DUMBASS ARGUEMENT ,THAT IN NO WAY CHANGES HIS MUSIC, I MISSED SOME OF THIS SONG.
saltyshoelace: why does it matter. maybe he does or maybe he doesnt. heres a question,is it any of your got damn business
shaw7man: seriously. dont believe shit thats on the internet. its full of lies and crack heads. i know you were arguing for the better because yes, he is taking it over bored with the emo name calling. fuck him hes a cunt
@crayZtaco7 thank god there's people like you man, sometimes people need to chill out, stop arguing, and just listen to the music... too bad it'll never happen cause people just strive to prove themselves =/
@saltyshoelace Firstly, you need to do some research before insulting people like that. Buckethead has Bipolar syndrome and Severe Autism. Secondly, he just complemented Big B, and you have to call him a faggot for no reason. You are just filling the very stereotype of anyone who listens to metal, Arrogant and heartless. "I support diabetes in it's battle against Nick Jonas" My dad died of diabetes when i was four you arrogant prick.
@shaw7man Really? Severe autism? If you search that on Google, one thing comes up, and it's a forum that uses the exact words "Severe autism and Bipolar syndrome". You obviously read that post and believed every bit of it. It also states that because of his autism, he can't play guitar without a bucket on his head. This is bullshit too, because if you have the DVD 'Young Buckethead' (Which I do), you would see that he used to play with no bucket all the time.
@DarkFire2313 Definitely, but the two are kinda completely different. It's like saying System Of A Down >Beatles. What you should say is Buckethead8>Slash
@NorrisPimp lol haha. but i still like both though i would choose BH over slash. both players are of different genres so we can only compare in terms of tecnicality. overall, BUCKETHEAD IS A FREAKING GENIUS!!!!! Cheers
Buckethead is guitarist and slash is guitarist, so we can compare them.
You wouldn't find in slash's music something like crazy shred ( like bucket's braingate ) and so calm tunes like ( electric tears ). IMO Buckethead is god carrying enormous guitar. He can play from crazy music like funbus, botnus to rock - pepper's ghost to ballads & chill out music... ya peace
@minib00mpola I'm not sure if you were saying you liked Slash or not. I was saying Buckethead's a guitar god too. I think Slash is waay overrated and plays the same style, he never comes out with something new or something that just blows your mind.
Buckethead is also the one that really got me into guitar. I try to learn his songs all the time. The only guitarrist I like more is Buck Dharma.
um... no. buckethead is too repetitive to be put above any good classical artist, especially beethoven. buckethead is amazingly diverse with genres, but he is too pattern based.
No need to get all serious my friend. It's just a way we Bucket fans like to show respect and love for him - explaining how we perceive him to be a beauty beyond all others; a rare gem in this universe of cold, blackened stone.
true, but i didn't know if he meant that or not. there are some seriously rabid buckethead fans out there if you know what i mean. whatever, he is 100x better than yngwie... stupid fat fuck ate me.
@adgato75 I don't get the description when i hit the arrows. So for me, there is no description. That's why I just wanted someone to tell me what movie it's from.
one of the most beutifull things ive ever heard in my hole life written by the god of music and guitar personaly love this song and everytime i hear it my heart is touched by this majesty

When i listen to this song I just close my eyes and pretend that we are in a world without gods, wars, hate, starving and all the misery that is in our world. A beutiful masterpiece and it touches me everytime I listen to it.
@thatkidinthecorner11 I'm Christian but I have no problems with other religions. Everyone has free will and that is fine. I don't treat anyone differently based one their beliefs which is the approach that most people should take. I agree religion causes war, there is no denying that, but some people think that their views are better than everyone else's but there is no "perfect" viewpoint. Everything is flawed and nothing will ever be perfect. We just have to cop with what we have.
@dka0314 Very good comment. People who listen to buckethead are so cool. Thats why I even bother to comment back because I know no one who listens to Buckethead ever would fight on youtube
@dka0314 its about time someone with a little common sense showed up in this world. im not religious, in fact i hate the concept of religion, but its nice to see a religious person who doesnt want to force themselves and their beliefs upon everyone else. thank you for showing me that there might possibly maybe be a light at the end of this dark tunnel
@dka0314 It's not people like you who cause conflicts because of religion, but there are people like that in the world and that's what causes wars and other conflicts. What ManUtd1337 was saying was a world with no conflicts and no chances of conflicts. Just complete peace
@ManUtd1337 why would associate [God] with misery, hate, wars, and starvation. thats the most ignorant thing you could possibly say! I understand that you have different beliefs but you shouldn't group other peoples beliefs in with stuff like that.
how is it possible in a world like this with all our problems someone can pull something like this out of thin air pretty much, bh could prob just improv something like this if he really wanted to, wish i could write like that
@kghsbassboy He has. His whole Acoustic Shards album was just improv when he was in his room one night and there are a lot of songs like this. He really is one of the best guitarist to ever live.
its like the 2nd or 3rd time watchin this vid. Just seen how it was "purely accidental" Thats awsome, since the 1st time i thought they went hand in hand as well. bty Colma..greatest album

@faithfuldistortion1 Thanks =) and your welcome ^_^ haha

@dka0314 It's not people like you who cause conflicts because of religion, but there are people like that in the world and that's what causes wars and other conflicts. What ManUtd1337 was saying was a world with no conflicts and no chances of conflicts. Just complete peace
MetallicaFan349 1 year ago
@ManUtd1337 why would associate [God] with misery, hate, wars, and starvation. thats the most ignorant thing you could possibly say! I understand that you have different beliefs but you shouldn't group other peoples beliefs in with stuff like that.

@ManUtd1337 well said!

how is it possible in a world like this with all our problems someone can pull something like this out of thin air pretty much, bh could prob just improv something like this if he really wanted to, wish i could write like that
kghsbassboy 2 years ago
@kghsbassboy He has. His whole Acoustic Shards album was just improv when he was in his room one night and there are a lot of songs like this. He really is one of the best guitarist to ever live.
