I'm a small government libertarian and I agree with a lot of your complaints, but your solutions are only looking at effects rather than causes. That said I definitely will only support Ron Paul for president but I have a lot of respect for Dennis Kucinich (D). If I had to pick one democrat for president it would be him. Both he and Paul are honest and consistent and honest.

These people need to pick up an economics book. Consumerism doesn't drive the economy, manufacturing does, and protectionism via tariffs only drives up the price of goods. Keynesian Economics, like what they are suggesting, has failed. This can be seen in our current recession and looming collapse of the dollar. I agree that the Republican establishment has not been acting in the interest of the people, but I would say the say the same about Democrat party leaders. I'm voting Ron Paul 2012
