  • Great video FX! Enterprise C doesn't get a whole lot of attention. It's a bad ass powerful ship.

Look forward to seeing more! I'm glad that it's getting some serious viewings ;)

  • pretty good, but the music could have been, i don't know, a little bit more epic. Maybe Holtz' "Saturn-bringer of Jolity," perhaps?

  • @admiraljoshhar

Thanks. I thought the music was fairly epic actually. P.S. I think you mean Jupiter.

  • Is that the music from Mass Effect? I think so, so, thumbs up...

    Excellent video regardless.

  • That was a good one... I like it

  • Fantastic! No fault whatsoever. If you do a new version you might put lights on the arms, warning lights and spotlights. Red / Green nav lights would be good fore and aft. A harddock or ubilical would be good. And it just seems like the small craft buzzing around are missing. Again great job!

  • Um. You forgot to light up the impulse engiens...

  • @PsyckoSama

and um, did you watch past 3:09 ? lol

  • @VideoSpaceFX You simply cut your scenes too long. I noticed that in your other videos, too. Just cut it a bit faster, to accelerate the pace, your videos will greatly benefit from that!

  • @VideoSpaceFX lol!!!

  • Nice work. The Ambassador class was built like the Constitution, everything is well balanced, sturdy looking, doesn't look too aggressive, and not too puny. Like Acura's commercial line: "Aggression in it's most elegant form."

  • I don't care what anyone says, Enterprise-C is probably the ugliest of the line.

  • @bryanttillman I used to think that but the Ambassador Class has grown on me... I've gone back to loathing the Enterprise-B. And I still like the Constitution Class the most.

  • @chaah06

The design grew on me also while I was making these videos. She is a sturdy looking ship.

  • @chaah06 TOS or TMP?

  • Good choice.

  • Well, not really knowing the Halo/Mass Effect music, I can hear this with a "blank slate", as far as how it fits the scene. And it does fit the scene *very* well, in my opinion. In fact, I was going to leave a comment asking if the music was specifally/custom made for this scene before I read the first few comments!

  • @Xonx68 *specifically

  • Is that Halo music? it sounds a lot like Mass Effect, either way its cool!

  • @Credithelper75

    It's both

  • "Yesterday's Enterprise"

  • Great video! does anyone know if there have been any fanfilms featuring the "Enterprise C"?

  • @hartt2 My research is by no means exhaustive, but considering the fanbase for "Yesterday's Enterprise", I'm astonished that no-one has built so much as an ep around Captain Rachel Garrett and the gallant Crew of the Enterprise-C

  • Very well put together.

  • good stuff right here LOVE it.

  • Nice. Very impressive work.

  • love how this video uses halo music

  • @B3ncavill

Yeah the Halo series has great music.

  • @VideoSpaceFX Why did you use Halo and Mass Effect music?

I'm not criticizing I love both franchises to death, I was just wondering

  • @BrewCrew4Life21

Well I just listened to a load of music to see what would fit this sort of scene.

  • Your videos are really great. I'm missing the old good days with new Startrek episodes, i see little hope in videos from people like you. ONCE MORE THANKS FOR POSTING IT :o)

  • Why the hell is there Halo music in this?

  • @VulcanZechov Becuase its cool.

  • Enterprise c is my fave ship

  • As to the registry you'll note that from the original constitution on up they all bear the Federation registry number 1701, where as previous craft with the name have different registry numbers and part of different organizations. The NX01 was an alliance ship, the SS Enterprise was a US Navy carrier, NASA had one of their space shuttles named Enterprise. Those are the ones I know of. The Federation I guess would be the first organization to continue the name through consecutive ships.

  • Good music and what a fine ship the Enterprise C is i must say.

  • 6th to bear the name, because of star trek enterprise, and the new movie.

  • @DIVOTMOVIES

    What new movie?

  • @VideoSpaceFX i mean't the 2009 movie

  • @DIVOTMOVIES

    O yeah that...

  • @DIVOTMOVIES i thought it was a differnt time line ??

  • @skycaprob Well in the time real time line it would be a pre tos enterprise.

  • @skycaprob but not the nx enterprise just between the nx and the tos enterprises

  • @skycaprob This is to complicated to say with commen'ts i'd have to do a video log to explain

  • @DIVOTMOVIES kk i know that everything before the kelvin was the timeline but aparently the design team for the nacels died on the kelvin hence the differnt design and also this isnt just stated by jj but also in star trek itself. not the movie but one of the tv shows. that he served with his dad or something :S

  • @DIVOTMOVIES Actually, the 2009 film does not classifies as cannon of the 6th name because that is in the alternate universe. So in otherwords, it didn't exsist during the REAL Federation like TNG, DS9 and VOY time line because they were in the normal universe. TOS was the same as TNG and DS9 but the film 2009 was an alternate universe mate. So that dosen't really count as part of the Enterprise legacy because its from another universe.

  • @Charlie25188 I appreciate what you did there... But the whole comment was rather cliche nerd, don't you think?

  • @Charlie25188 Yet all trek films and shows were decreed canon. further prime spock is in the new universe. it's a whole new canon unto it self imo.

  • @Charlie25188

It DOES count as official Star Trek canon, but within its own reality. The alternate reality Federation is just as real as the prime reality Federation, but the two are mutually exclusive after Nero's incursion in 2233.

  • I like Captain Rachel Garretts ship here the Ambassador class, although am partial to Miranda, Soyuz and Excelsior class ships myself.."Peace and long Life"

  • Nice. I wish I could do this :(

  • actually its fifth enterprise. nx-01, 1701, 1701-A, 1701-B and then 1701-C

  • @disturbedfan1100 Sixth, actually, if we also include the SS Enterprise. Or, we could just mentally amend it to say "The fourth FEDERATION starship to bear the name."

  • @94539shadow The ships dedication plaque along with those of the Enterprise-D and E have it as I have written it, with them being the fifth and sixth respectively.

  • @VideoSpaceFX I understand that.

  • @94539shadow well now that i think its actually 8th. SS Enterprise, that plane Enterprise (goes to space), Satellite Enterprise and then NX and the rest. but yeah its better wat u suggested: FEDERATION starship (though nx was alliance space ship (at least i think so) and alliance was the start of federation)

  • wow - that was awesome :-D

  • Wow. Awesome work! The Ambassador class was always my favorite design.

  • Enterprise C looked way better than Enterprise D.

  • Starship launches are some of my favorite scenes in all of "Star Trek." =)

  • Just found your videos today. Awesome work! I'm a big fan of Tricia O'Neil the world's most famous actress that no one knows :-) (& I love Star Trek) so it was a pleasant surprise to find this.Thank you. One minor point about Narendra 3 (and no I haven't read all the comments).... it's implied that the torpedoes collide before they hit Enterprise front on & this causes the temporal rift.Nonetheless, I love it! Thank you for the work you put into creating these vids.

  • You should do more on Enterprise C and B after the Nexus Ribbon. I'm sure it wasn't destroyed. Also you should look into making a sim program for we can just explore and not a battle sim.

  • You need to do more with the USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701-C!!!!!

    WARP SPEED FUN!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MRMOGAVERO A great tribute to a powerful but under-appreciated class. The Enterprise-C is one of my favorite Enterprise designs too and I wish we'd seen more of this ship. When the Japanese Furuta trading miniatures for "Star Trek" came out, the Enterprise-C was the first one I grabbed.

"As you know, we could outrun the Klingon vessels. But we must protect the Enterprise-C until she re-enters the temporal rift and we must succeed! Let's make sure history NEVER forgets the name Enterprise!"

  • Awesome work. I love your clips. Will continue watching your other clips. Keep up the good work. :-)

  • That was very cool! I've always liked the C and wished I could see more of her! And I like your warp effect. It's kinda like a hybrid between the TNG rubber band effect and the movies warping through space effect which I always loved!

  • I am so HAPPY! You made this work using the Halo 2 soundtrack! ROCK ON!

  • Great video, keep up the good work.

  • i hope your working on a wolf 359 battle

  • @lycanthropeify Yeah I am currently working on that, it will be done within a couple of months at most I would say.

  • @VideoSpaceFX so what did you use to make this exactly? it looks like a very very nice tool to use (well at least you make it look nice XD)

  • @VideoSpaceFX

    Are you done?

  • @MobiusOne86 The first part of the Borg incursion with the Enterprise was completed, but the actual battle was abandoned part way through, but I uploaded the scenes I did complete.

  • Very good work!

  • Awesome! Perfect choice of Halo and Mass Effect music too.

  • Nice, the mass effect music was a great choise!

  • Awesome vid :D....I am really liking what I am seeing from your channel :D

  • Nicely done, VideoSpaceFX.

  • wow very impressive , keep up the great work !

  • The warp effect didn't look right but aside from that it was completely stunning, congrats!

  • @cdname47 Thanks. Yes the problem was it didn't move fast enough but I didn't want to re-render it and I didn't think it would be noticed.

  • Awesome work mate! Great video again. And in HD. WOW

  • Another gem of a video! loved the use of the music, are you planning to do any more Enterprise C videos?

  • @captaintarel Thanks.

The music is from Halo 2 and Mass Effect.

I have the model ready to use so I will do more with it probably. There will be a few Ambassadors in the Battle of Wolf 359.

  • Optical Flares FTW!

Also, I find that Knoll Light Factory, is best for torpedoes, since one of the presets is the Quantum Torpedo, and it has the Photon Spike Ball, like in TMP, which can be adjusted to look more like a TNG/VGR era torpedo, and some of ENT.

  • @CJCA915 Yer I'm thinking about whether to "convert" to doing weapons in max not in post in AE for the Wolf 359 video.

  • @VideoSpaceFX Well, in Max, it can increase render time, what I do is just keyframe the lights in max, and apply the flare, and the intensity of the light, automatically sets the flare coming on, all, I gotta do is keyframe the animation evolution, so it looks like a torpedo, rather than a spiked flare, lol.

  • For scaled up to 720p, it still looks awesome.

I'm working on a Nemesis type battle myself, although, I am running to the problem of creating Nemesis style shields, might have to compromise and use Insurrection type shields.

  • @CJCA915 Thanks alot.

The Insurrection-type would be so much easier, as I remember the Nemesis shield follows the shape of the hull more rather than being an oval shape. If I was trying I think I would duplicate the ship mesh and scale it up a bit, then find someway of reducing the complexity of that mesh to turn it into the Nemesis-style shield shape and texture that as a shield.

  • @VideoSpaceFX Yea, I might just go with Insurrection, because Paul Trenklers Enterprise E is already high poly, duplicating and optimizing, would be more trouble, than a modded sphere, lol.
