This helped PERFECTLY!! Thank you VERY much! I was spending forever trying to make good clouds before I finally gave up and looked for help! haha thank you thank you thank you! ^ ^ <3
anyone know what version of photoshop he is using and is photoshop elements 5 the complete version or just like the stuff you really need cause his verison seems much more complete
I can tell you personally that it is Photoshop 7 Professional.
I can also say that it will work the same way in any in any newer version of Photoshop. I've not messed with Photoshop Elements, T_T so I don't know how it would work in there. Sorry.
Not a very good Tut, i agree w/gconrad73 no sound.
any ways, you'll get much better results with the clouds filter, very good brush usage do. I manage to get some good techniques from there. keep up the good work, and tnx.
Kinda pointless without sound dontcha think? Still, it looks like a great tutorial for some nifty stylized clouds. How about a text file or an html file or something describing the techniques/tools/etc. that were used?
Brilliant tip. Worked very nicely for a background in one of my animations. Thanks a lot!

Thank you! All it takes is hard work, and a willingness to try stuff out.

your tutorial is very nice,
have you ever tryed to use gaussian blur or smudge tool make them look more soft?
i'm not good enough to try it but maybe it will work if you try it

Yes, I tend to do that for clouds in the distance. This image is more close up, so it wouldn't be a ton blurry.

Yes, elements is just the basic elements that you'll need. I have it too, and it works just fine for me.
I think it has almost all the same tools...

what brush settings are you using? this is great:)
icedog0 4 years ago
I used "Chalk 36" in this video, but turned on scattering, and tweaked a few other settings in the brush settings.
I probably changed the size of the brush using the keyboard shortcuts "[" and "]", so if it's not the right size for you, that's why.
Any other questions?
