I absolutely love your videos! I can't believe I just stumbled upon your channel today! Its awesome to see someone with a huge focus on skin and skincare cause I'm absolutely obsessed with great skin and its nice to see inexpensive treatments like this.
I just bought the mask on ebay and I"m excited to try it out. Could you do a video on skin complexion? Such as how to get even skin tone?? PLEASEEE...Thank you!
The stuff u say while u made the mixture sounded scripted..but great information! :) it's cool how a guy is interested in all this and has so much to share, why didn't I find u and sub earlier?!?! U seem to be a huge help to a lot of different people suffering with bad skin, good job and keep it up :):) I'm gonna go do this now cuz I actually have strawberries now!
So I forgot to say a few weeks ago what happened, but I did this mask on my family too and my mom was so shocked, she loved how smooth her skin felt after! Thank you so much :)I'm about use it today ^_^
Hi there. I just love to tell you one more ideal .Because i'm Asian ,we love to do dead sea clay years round to keep the skin look younger, we always Mix Dead sea clay with the Milk ,, So hope you give it a try. Thanks
I love videos like this. Please do more if you have time! Can't wait for your skincare homemade type of videos! I like Roc lotion but it discontinues so i really hope i can make my own with your coming video! Thanks a bunch for all your helpful information !
I remember when you made the dead sea clay video :) Now I really want to buy the dead sea clay. Do you really love it and think it's worth me purchasing?
I bought the dead sea clay from the ebay store you mentioned and it didn't really make even a slight difference on my skin. :( Are you supposed to refrigerate it?
@rvggarcon You can definitely refrigerate it to store it :D Give the mask a few more shots. The dead sea clay should help to polish and detox the skin...unless you already have very balanced skin. Plus, it's always some good nutrition for the skin.
Random question: Do you wear any make-up when doing your videos? at least in this one? your skin is unbelievably flawless, with very healthy skin-tones.
Am i allowed to use this without the clay and just use the strawberries, yogurt and honey? Because I don't think I'm going to get the clay mask anytime soon. :)
Love love love me some DIY skin care!! I adore mixing my own masks! I will definitely try the mask..I only have some Kaolin clay at the moment, but will pick up some of that Dead Sea clay as soon as possible! I love honey in my mask...delish! Well, smells delish...can't eat the clay. But I sure do love Honey..the Buckwheat kind. The yogurt would probably be great for the Lactic Acid content. Gotta do this!
hey michael, love your videos. during this video i noticed how clean shaven you are and was wondering if in the future you could go over your shaving routine. take it easy out there.
@BeautyIngenue Thank you so much! I appreciate it. And, yes, I have researched the derma roller fairly extensively. Thanks for sharing your initial thoughts on the treatment. It sounds like a great tool, but only for people who know what they are doing :D
@PastryTCB It does smell sooo good. And the mixture is super tasty. I got in trouble for eating a bunch of it before filming and I actually had to go back to the store and get more strawberries. Life is tough I guess...lol. :D Thanks for watching
@heatherkelley1 Awesome! I cant wait to hear how it turns out. It is a good mask :D You cant find better stuff on the market. :D Thanks so much for watching and giving the mask a shot :D
@htur10 Awesome!! Thank you so much! I would love to hear your feedback after you give this mask a shot. :D I am working diligently on more DIY videos (they take longer to film and edit tho). Thanks for watching this video :D
@RockSymphonyLove Aww, thank you so much! I would love you hear your thoughts after you give it a shot. It is a great mask. Thanks so much for watching!
@leekyungsuh510 It is so interesting to hear that. I have never "known" anyone who knew a bee keeper (haha, that comment sounded werid) . I bet you cant have a bee phobia with a dad that is always hanging around bees! Yes, honey is not only tasty, but it is so good for the skin.
I found you recently and I love, love, love your videos!! I love skin care stuff. Once a week, I exfoliate, use a mask, a serum, then moisturize, all in one night. Is using an exfoliant and mask the same night too rough on the skin? Some weeks, I like to do 2 masks a week but one of them not too strong.
@annie0523 Well, thank you so much for stopping by and I am certainly lucky to have you. Welcome. No, exfoliating and using a mask in the same night is not too harsh, unless you are really deeply exfoliating with a chemical peel or something. It is better to exfoliate before a mask, so the actual toxing in the skin can be removed...it is harder to penetrate through the small layer of dead skin. I am so glasd you use a mask twice a week. Your future skin will thank you!

@Rooshanii This is perfect for oily skin, as is almost any mask treatment. Just use less yogurt, but still put in a little bit if possible. I bet this would work very well for your skin :D With oily skin, you will want to detox with something like a mask a little bit more often than those with dry skin :D Thanks for watching!
I can't wait to try this on Friday! The mixture looks disguesting though. I'm really curious about the diy skincare, I wanna know how much money I've been wasting these past years.
Michael, can I use frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones? The winter is coming, and it's not that easy to get fresh strawberries any more. I've been with you from almost Day One, and it's really good to see you improving with every new video. Keep it up!
@Valya67 Yes, just let them thaw out a bit :D They dont loose the acidic properties :D I totally understand...luckily, fresh strawberries can be grown here year round. And yes, thank you so much for sticking around so long. I remember you from so long ago :D I am lucky to have you :D
@InLalalalaLAND Hehe, thank you !! It was surprisingly difficult to design from scratch, but it came out very "cute", which is great. Thanks so much for watching!
LOVE this video=) Thank you THANK YOU for tellin' us about this and lookin' all this up! GREAT information. And GREAT video. Very much appreciated! I'm VERY into anything natural and what EFFECTS they have - and you covered all of that so, so, SO well done. Super resourceful:) Will send to friends:)
@M1sty4 Awesome!! Thank so much for sharing. And keep your eyes open for some upcoming all-natural videos similar to this one :D I totally agree with you (although I also love certain skin care brands, it can be fun *and even more rewarding* to make your own). If you have a specific request, Id love to hear it!
@TheSublimeAgent oh, anything would be great. your comment "forget store-bought junk" was hilarious. (I agree though, have a few I just LOVE - like Freeman's goodstuff organics facial scrub -- gentle, no parabens or sulfates). I would say ANYTHING you have on facial scrubs - b/c I they're the hardest to make at home - such sensitive skin vs. body. That's why I love yogurts and milk - cause as you mentioned they help get that dead skin off (but w/ out rubbin' hard or anything:)
I LOVE these videos and think that the dupe idea is amazing! DIY is great because it's natural which means that u can avoid all the harsh ingredients often found in even highend prodcuts! And as usual, ur so thorough...love how u explain everything! : )
@lauragavrila1 Thank you so much. It is important to explain everything so people can see the benefit of ordinary and natural things. So many high end and drug store stuff is just cheap junk you can make at home without all the chemicals :D
This is really inspiring! I just ran out of strawberries and honey though, and was too lazy to go to the grocery store after work so i took your advice and modified it. I used the dead sea clay, yogurt, japanese matcha powder, and ground flax meal. I actually have it on right now lol....kinda excited about it. I'll have to get some strawberries I had no idea about the salicylic acid in them thats really awesome. Great video as always looking forward to seeing more in this series! <3
@charleswp33l3 Awesome! That sounds like a great combo! I hope it turns out well. Yes, strawberries are just like the drug store SA treatments without all the extra chemicals. Thanks so much for watching. The DIY lip balm is next. It really is a neat gift idea. I also have one more video planned with the dead sea clay. :D
Great video, Michael! I really enjoyed it. You have some great ideas coming up. Do you have any good tips/ mixtures for using coconut oil for the skin and hair? if you do, please make a video.
OMG thank you for this video, I am a big skin care freak! & I love DYI videos, I have dry skin & dry patches on my forehead from my acne treatment, I want to try this mask for sure! I have also purchased the dead sea mask because of you! and I absolutely loved it! thank you for the review on the mask! thank u so much for making videos, everything u say truly does matter to me, :D I find u soo helpful in everything cosmetology! haha thank u! and u are truly gorgeous! !
Thank you so much for this video. I just purchased the dead sea clay and i'm hoping it helps get rid of the horrible seborrheic dermatitis ALL OVER my face :(
Oh my goodness, this is such a great idea! I'd probably need to do 2 batches of the strawberry/yoghurt/honey mix though, one to eat and one for my face haha
Great video! It made me very hungry though. Now I have to buy some strawberries, just to eat them. Oh and are their any recommendations for the colour of the spatula? Do some colors work better then others? ;) I'm looking forward to any of your videos. <3 xoxo
I appreciate the fact your always conscious about others that perhaps aren't in the same position as you (be it culturally or financially) and always in a totally non-judgmental way. Thumbs up.
Love this video and the series you are planning. The editing is amazing too. Can't wait for the dupe video. I'm especially interested in the C serums. I've been reading up on using it in a anhydrous form rather than liquid. :D
Omg... the mask sounds great but I would never do it. Strawberries are sooo expensive here in Japan, like you have no idea! If I buy some strawberries, it's definitely going inside my tummy lol.
@thaylinha Wow, really!! I have never heard that before. I got a pretty large box of them here for $2. Interesting info. Maybe if you buy strawberries, you can spare just one. You can just take one and rub it all over your face and leave on for 5-10 minutes...so then you are only using one.
Oh ran out of space below to say that I sometimes also make my own vitamin C serum with asorbic acid powder, which I make in a brown glass dropper bottle and keep in the fridge for just a few days to keep it active. I also go to the trouble of making it in low lighting to keep it's active effects, you should see me squinting to check the measurements, probably overdoing that bit lol! It feels so good to make these things fresh for yourself if you can dedicate a few mins every now and then.
@dianeuk01 That is actually one of my DIY video ideas. However, I didnt get ascorbic acid powder, I got the magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP) powder because it is supposed to be a little more resistent to the elements (like light, as you mentioned). Can I know what you use to make your serum...do you just mix the ascorbic acid with an appropriate amount of water? Thanks for sharing...very interesting!
@TheSublimeAgent Happy to share, my recipe is from the internet, 10% concentration is 1/4 tsp L-asorbic acid powder, fully dissolved in 5ml water, then add 5ml glycerine and mix, the amount of asorbic acid should probably be lower to start perhaps 1/2 or a 1/4 of this concentration then gradually increased over 1/2 weeks when you know your skin can tolerate it. Here is the website, remove spaces; natural -skin -care -info . com / vitamin-c-serum
Brilliant video, def going into my favs. I love DIY face masks, I have a couple of "receipes" in my favs from bubzbeauty that I really like. I haven't got dead sea clay mask, but I do have some Burt's Bees french green clay that I could try this with. When I watch your vid on the dead sea clay I know I'll want it! I am so looking forward to what you have coming up. Again loving this hair look on you. Just wanted to say that I really do enjoy your videos, such a pleasure to watch. x
Yay! Another DIY! That mask looked so delicious, w/o the clay of course. This sounds like a fantastic mask and I must try. I'm really looking fwd to the series!
OH how I have missed you!! I loved this video, I am going to place my order for the Dead Sea clay very soon so I can try it out. I love that you can take these natural things and do wonders with them. I am now very excited for you to put up your DIY lip balm video up! Please keep the DIY videos coming- you are so fantastic, and you make your intelligence work for you unlike a lot of people, LOL- so who better to make these kinds of video? Thanks!
@ultrafashionmatic You got it! :D I am very passionate about this kinda stuff, and diy skin care can be a lot of fun. This works particularly well (especially in terms of exfoliating all the dead skin from your face in a gentle and extremely effective way). Thanks for watching!
@TheSublimeAgent i'll try it but first i need to get some money to order the clay cos it is a bit more expensive for me it is like 7$ or sth :D cos of the shipping :D and no problem i love your vids :D
Ok wow...you are so amazing!! =) I am really excited about your upcoming videos you mentioned doing such as the department store dupes <3 Also, this mask is something I'm going to try asap!
@ginabinawina99 Oh yes, please do. It is definitely worth it. I would pay $20-30 for it, but it is only freaking 99 cents. But its eBay, so what else should you expect?
It was very yummy. I ate a bunch of it before I had the courage to film it with the clay added. I wonder if you would die if you ate the final mixture...I would guess yes, but maybe no.
Michael, can you start to review or discuss do it yourself machines...you know, like "Galvanic Spa" or hair removal machines (home shopping network) and red LED lights (at Sephora for skin) you know? I have the Galvanic spa and I would consider the hair removal machine if I though it was good and I also have a red and blue light LED that I shine on my face! You are sooooo thorough!! Also I haven't forgotten your promise to cover HA!! Thanks you're a doll...still!!
@MsTheBow I have been planning a review of red light home treatment systems (quasar, dr perricone, etc.) Thanks for the great idea!! I really like that concept for this channel!! I will look into the ones you mentioned as well. Thanks so much for feedback. I will get to the HA ingredient video haha. :D
@jameelamh That is great! The next diy video I am putting up is a fun (and inexpensive) gift idea. Thanks so much for watching, I am so glad this could be helpful :D
@xbrunettewonderx Aww, thank you so much. It just takes a lot of work, but everyone can have great skin...and although it is "a lot" of work, it is fun!
@hunnedfourthstreet Ya, I found this really great source that sells the active ingredients in high end skin care along with recipes (that do, albeit, have to be deciphered by someone who knows what they are doing) to create dupes for things like strivectin etc. for a great price.
@MT5792 Aww, thank you so much. Yes, there are many more fun ones coming up :D Great gift ideas too (for those who like to give something interesting but hate spending a lot of money). :D
@Poutress That is great. I cant believe this guy actually sells the clay for such a fair price. So many people try to make such a profit off of it. I am going to do another video using the clay down the road. :D Thanks for watching!
your so cute and informative! <3

lauragavrila1 1 year ago

charleswp33l3 1 year ago
@charleswp33l3 Awesome! That sounds like a great combo! I hope it turns out well. Yes, strawberries are just like the drug store SA treatments without all the extra chemicals. Thanks so much for watching. The DIY lip balm is next. It really is a neat gift idea. I also have one more video planned with the dead sea clay. :D

Have you tried AZTEC clay mask, sold @ WholeFoods for a round $6-7.
I wonder how it is compared to the dead sea one?
Tnx
mqs7524 1 year ago
Omg... the mask sounds great but I would never do it. Strawberries are sooo expensive here in Japan, like you have no idea! If I buy some strawberries, it's definitely going inside my tummy lol.
thaylinha 1 year ago
@thaylinha Wow, really!! I have never heard that before. I got a pretty large box of them here for $2. Interesting info. Maybe if you buy strawberries, you can spare just one. You can just take one and rub it all over your face and leave on for 5-10 minutes...so then you are only using one.
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago
Oh ran out of space below to say that I sometimes also make my own vitamin C serum with asorbic acid powder, which I make in a brown glass dropper bottle and keep in the fridge for just a few days to keep it active. I also go to the trouble of making it in low lighting to keep it's active effects, you should see me squinting to check the measurements, probably overdoing that bit lol! It feels so good to make these things fresh for yourself if you can dedicate a few mins every now and then.
dianeuk01 1 year ago
@dianeuk01 That is actually one of my DIY video ideas. However, I didnt get ascorbic acid powder, I got the magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP) powder because it is supposed to be a little more resistent to the elements (like light, as you mentioned). Can I know what you use to make your serum...do you just mix the ascorbic acid with an appropriate amount of water? Thanks for sharing...very interesting!
TheSublimeAgent 1 year ago

Just wanted to say that I really do enjoy your videos, such a pleasure to watch. x

ginabinawina99 1 year ago
