Not sure who to address this to...maybe "HEY OLD EARTH EVOLUTIONISTS"? Anyway, what does it matter when the impacts occurred? They obviously happened. The old-age dilemma is the fact that radiohalos and zircons show the earth is young and formed suddenly. Google iscpubs deep core zircons.
HEY YOUNG EARTH CREATIONISTS! I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU? There is an impact crater 200 km diam and one 500km diam! They are proven to be impacts by irridium (a rare substance) around the rim and tectites (glass 'marbles') around the rim (tectites don't form volcanically). Did impacts that large happen within 6000yrs? Some greationist say they happened in the flood but others say it changes the flood too much and simply deny the ipacts (except the smallest). Can you explain this?
I really enjoy how irate and on the offensive people get when anything mentioning creation is talked about. Evolution although widespread is still a theory, a scientific theory albeit, still a theory that has not been proven, nor disproven. If all of you that are so against creation research would actually take the time and do some "real" fact finding you may be amazed. You talk Dawkins, he is as arrogant and narrow minded as you all. Smart as heck, but still. Check out Michael Behe.
Found your abstract Mark, not on the websites of the prestigious institutions you mentioned, but on a website called "Creation Ministries International," not exactly a scientifically rigorous outfit huh? There, I read of one Russell Humphries, described by the oxymoron "creation physicist" and the author of your elusive abstract. He's in the "god done it all school" of young earth creationism. Not taken seriously anywhere. I therefore conclude that your arguments are not worthy of refutation.
Dear Irky, Parking a $200k Ferrari in a Yugo warehouse does not diminish the staggering complexity and raw performance of the Ferrari. Your lame argument that the helium work is found on a creationist website (among many others including secular) diminishes the logic and science of the paper is a ploy often thrown up by ignorant persons such as yourself. Ignorance is a choice and you are free to remain ignorant and not look at the facts for yourself.
If by "facts" you mean fairy tales from the Bible, I think I'll stick to my Darwin thank you. However hard you try, you cannot make Genesis scientifically valid, no matter how many microscopes you own. And some of your creationist buddies are now making ludicrous claims against modern astronomy, saying that the Milky Way Galaxy is the center of the universe because that's where God meant His children to be. You don't believe THAT do you?. So I repeat, your arguments are not worthy of refutation.
You show your lack of skills by not finding creationist articles in secular journals. Mine were published over the last 15 years in SoCal Academy of Sciences and others. Also you throw up straw men with sophomoric comments: "god got it all done school". Could you behave less like a first grader? "Teacher, teacher - his drawing is in the lunch room - it does'nt count". Drop your mental diapers Irky and learn get yourself logically potty trained. Argue the data, big mouth - don't call names.
@irkulyen Tell you what Irkulyen.....you post online your refutation (if you do not understand that word use a dictionary) of our work on Helium found in massive quantities in the Earth's rocks, and our work showing excessive amounts of radiocarbon in diamonds and our reports of massive numbers of short half life halos in granites, and I will post on ANY WEBSITE of your choosing that I am a moron and a member of a cult. Your silence will show your ignorance.
My Dear Mr. Armitage - please name a single peer reviewed scientific journal where your work has been scrutinized and taken seriously by the majority of real authorities in the fields of evolution, earth sciences, astrophysics or astronomy. You are no doubt an intelligent man. Too bad you chose to waste your gifts on nonsense like creation "science." You may post your declaration of stupidity on the web site of a real scientist, Richard Dawkins.
@irkulyen Mr. Irk - or whatever your fake name is....I will give you just one peer reviewed journal, since you are in mental diapers...American Geophysical Union, Fall Meeting 2003, abstract #V32C-1047. It is posted on the Harvard.edu website.
Hi Mark! - I have searched in vain for the abstract you have sited, on both the web sites of the American Geophysical Union and the Harvard University Library, specifically, the Hollis database. In all cases, I got a "no results found" message. Perhaps you would care to be a bit more specific, i.e. an actual abstract title, plus author and publication date. But I must say, a mere single peer reviewed article in seven years does not speak very highly of your standing in the academic world.
Well Mark, I've enjoyed our little chats but I must be getting back to my favorite atheist writers. They may not believe in God, but they have a slightly more uplifted vision of human nature and destiny then all the ID folks out there put together. I will give you guys credit for persistence though. No matter how many court cases you lose or how often you are proven wrong, you keep coming back for another drubbing. After 2000 years of Christian mischief however, the human is race is moving on.
What is moronic is the way you expound on matters you cannot possibly know anything about. You can honestly say that not one person has been saved? How can you possibly know this? You can honestly say that you have read and rebutted my technical papers in American Laboratory, Microscopy Today, Microscopy and Microanalysis and the Southern California Academy of Sciences Bulletin? You are special then because I have read of no such rebuttal. Way to go! You and crapdedoodah must live together.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!! What amazing confrimation that there is intelligent design behind all creation ..we are NOT a mistake or a blob of goop from a swamp. We are fearfully and wonderfully made as is everything else, by a loving caring creator father God. Life is precious and we do not realize we are just a small part of a very big picture. Thank you for all your hard work much appreciated.

The Creation Research Society Microscopy laboratory is a monument to willful ignorance and stupidity. They are indeed a cult: a cult of morons.
