This was a very early song Kurt did before Nirvana. The "drums" in this song were actually wooden spoons being played on an suitcase. The outcesticide bootlegs, although the audio is very rough, have songs on it that Courtney could only dream of owning. That's how rare these tracks truly are.

Kurt was such an incredible artist. It's too bad people only know him for the sugar-coated pop rock on Nevermind. That's fantastic too, but he had so many sides and influences. Early Nirvana encompassed sludgy metal and jagged punk. And these demos of his from '87 and '88 have a dark, goth feel to them, even when he was just drumming on a suitcase and recording on a 4 track. What a sense of melody.

The only known title of this song was "Seed".

The song was never called "In His Hands", and you're thinking of the song title "Verse Chorus Verse". "In His Hands" was a bootlegger title. "Misery Loves Company" was a bootlegger title, too, and "Don't Want it All" was a title that was just made up by the Nirvana camp because they apparently didn't knwo the songs real name.
