I liked this Romana compared to the first mainly because this one actually has a personality. The first was gorgeous, don't get me wrong. But this one is the way I think a Time Lady should act. "All right, call me Fred!"

I believe that Romana died with the rest of the time lords, when the Doctor destroyed the star of Kasterborous.

The explosion destroyed both, Gallifrey, Skaro, Daleks and Time Lords.

I read this from some fan site, but this version seems to be realistic.

The novel "War of the Daleks" revealed that the planet the Seventh Doctor blew up wasn't actually Skaro, but a decoy called Antalin. Of course, it's up to you whether you accept the novels as canon (if you do, you might also have to accept that Romana had a third incarnation whose appearance the writers based on silent film actress Louise Brooks).

personally i loved that book. n think the EDA adventures n audios should be considered cannon. any discrepancies can be placed down to paradoxs brought about by the time war

"War of the Daleks" is good in parts, but as a sequel to "Remembrance of the Daleks" I think the Big Finish audio "Terro Firma" might be better.

The whole Antalin thing isn't certain. It's a claim made by the Dalek Prime, and Davros (mostly) doesn't believe it. The epilogue is titled "Epilogue: Skaro", seeming to confirm that the planet is the real Skaro. But the novel also reveals that "Skaro" simply means "home".

Theoretically, any Dalek base of operations could be called Skaro.

AFAIK, the novelisation of "Remembrance" makes it clear that the planet blown up is Skaro, with reference to an area where the Thals and Kaleds had fought.

i think its good they didnt make episodes about the time war from the same reason its good they dont reveal the doctor's name.. anyway if the show keeps on for another 5 years ppl will make a religion based on it lol
