  • i have the v6 le 4x4

  • i have a pathfinder. I wish i got black and then put tinted lights and windows and also big Black Rims

  • hows that naked frame its a rust bucket

you would have to be a fool to buy these trucks

  • @alejandro... congrats on your car, what about durability of V6, my traveling is daily 190KM On road, what do you think is that ok for such distance and to keep for long time

  • What up with the newer SUV's getting such bad MPG? Hell in the 80's the Suburban was getting 20MPG. With all the new refinments you'd think the MPG would get better not worse.....

  • @Onry1 The way mpg is calculated has changed greatly, 20 mpg in the 80s would be closer to 12 now.

  • I love how it looks.

  • i bought the V8 for around 42k and my wife yelled at me

  • @peepants1 umm no they dont they havent had a recall like ford ...

  • i prefer the patrol

  • Would Americans buy Diesel powered Pathfinders? In Australia we get a 2.5L turbo diesel- 127kw 403NM 10.5L/100km. and the 4L petrol which nobody buys because its too thirsty. A renault/nissan 3.0L V6 turbo diesel is coming out this year, i wonder if the Americans will get that engine. Australia won't be getting it any time soon apparently.

  • @BL0HARD

We do have 3.0 V6's growing in popularity, but I can say definitively that an American 2.5L big SUV would founder.

  • @bg1379

cheers for the feedback, i was wonder how diesel powered cars where perceived in North America.

  • hey maybe one you guys can give some advice here ;-)

I want ot buy one of these 2005-2009 pathfinders used but I am scared because of the complaints i read on sites such as edmunds about common problems such as timing chains etc.

    anybody have problems with theres?

  • 310 hp and 390 lb torque of amazingness

  • I have the VQ40 with a Nismo intake and Gibson exhaust. It hauls booty. Id only get a V8 if i was towing all the time.

  • i had the 2003 pathfinder and the 2006 le then i traded it in for a escalade and that was the best thing i ever did

  • fuck escalade.

  • i just got a 2008 Parthfinder S and its great

  • If you're looking for a v8 nissan suv, just go for the armada. It gets about the same gas mileage as the pathfinder v8, if not better, and it's got a lot more space.

  • my 06 pathfinder v6 gets 11 miles to the gallon in the city so the v8 would be nice and an improvement for gas milage.... but then again who ever bought an suv for good milage?

  • 11MPG!!?!??!?! dammmm, thats a gas guzzler. Its a shame, nissan makes good cars but they have slipped over the years :(

  • slipped!?! i love my pathfinder nissan makes some good car's and there infiniti line up is sweet. my 11 mpg sucks but its a pay off for the torque so i dont really mind

  • Well nissan is good, but they were much better 8-10 years ago. Their new altima isnt as good as it used to be.

  • Well, the Altimas look a whole lot better now than they did back in 94.

  • I would still take a Honda or a Toyota/Subaru..

Consumer reports named the Nissan Versa one of the worst cars for 2009 ;(

  • what do u expect its built in mexico.

  • @horrorfreak889

    Yes. They have slipped badly!

They spent too much building up INFINITI.

Though I liked what they did with the Maxima!

  • I have read other wise on the 2005s.

  • Theres no way u get 11 mpg. I hadda 1995 V6 pathfinder that got 14 in the city. Now i have a 2008 Nissan Armada that gets 12 in the city, so unless your leaking gas or put alot of mods on it then your not getting 11 MPG.

  • its very easy to get and if drive it with some spirit i can get it down to 6. The V6 is not economical in any way but the torque curve is worth it and it can take a bmw x5 3.0 si in a straight line so im not complaining. The Armada is nice but its way to big and i cant take it to the speeds my pathfinder sees on empty roads.

  • I can't believe the V6 only gets 11 mpg city! My mom's suburban gets 15 :/ I love the pathfinder but really the V6 should do a little better than that.

  • like i said she flys though since iv gotten her wev gone through 2 sets of brake pads to date blew the auto tensioner in her, and the u joints need replacing, but its been great its got 41 thousand miles on it now looking to trade it in so if you live in california i would strongly reccomend not getting a 2nd hand nissan pathfinder in storm gray.

  • I live in North Idaho. I love the Yukon XL because it is great in the winter! It has 177K on it, almost all the miles were put on by my mom because she used to drive over 100 miles to work 6 days a week. I would love to have a Pathfinder but the shitty gas mileage is a major turn off. But I like the flexibility of having a 3rd seat if need be to use it.

  • but man it it will out perform the yukon in every aspect and if gas milage was a concern i would of got a prius. it will get 19 on the highway

  • I will definitely not be getting a hybrid! I don't care for them at all! It would just be hard to drive a smaller SUV like that when I could have an suv that is much bigger and still get the same gas mileage. You know what I mean? I like GM a lot because the 5.3 is a very reliable engine. I don't care much for Ford because they seem to drop like flies and are in the shop all the time. I like GM stuff or imported stuff. Subaru = My favorite import!

  • i owned a 01 ford expedition it was a great truck but she blew a head gasket at 38k so i got rid of it, i wouldn't own a full size i drove the armada and it was great also looked at qx56 when i got the g, but it wouldn't fit in a parking garage and you cant really throw a full size suv around. Not to mention the pathfinder sees triple digits daily so something that big would be like trying to fly a c-17 a mach, wouldn't be very stable.

  • @parsley0120 V6 gets 14 city 20 highway.

  • Yes but that is by EPA ratings..

  • When we had one it got exactly what EPA said it got.

  • the armada is more fuel efficent then that thing:S,well the v8 is that is

  • its about the same MPG, because i have an '08 Armada. The V8 Pathfinder and the Armada have the same engine.

  • UK have top gear a tv show that i love by the way,

do USA have a similar tv show??

  • i guess your right cuz its the 4.0 265 hp V6 and i forgot they upgraded it

  • my moms got one, an 06 with a v6 and it hauls ass, and the gas mileage isnt great, but its quick and powerful. UGLY AS FUCK THO!!

  • Good deal for 26k when you get a decent V6. I'm not so sure about the V8 since there are plenty other SUVs out there that are better in that segment.

  • I love seeing reviews on big ass SUVs when we're paying 5.00/gal of gasoline.

  • dude, i guess i'm lucky. where i live it's still about $3.90/gallon but it'll probably be $5 pretty soon.

  • Isn't the Pathfinder MUCH more a competitor to the GMC Acadia instead of the GMC Yukon?

  • I wouldn't think so b/c the Acadia is a crossover whereas the Pathfinder is a real body on frame/truck-based SUV Like the Yukon. Plus if u get the V8 engine ur looking @ towing power that is much more in line w/ the Yukon than an Acadia. People may cross-shop the 2 b/c of the price but they're not really in the same vehicle catagory.

  • maybe the envoy/ trailblazer

  • They don't offer 3 rows any more though.

  • @bg1379 yeh your right. The nissan armada competes with the yukon

  • first.

this car is just a big ass guzzler iwthout the appeal of an sclade

  • sorry ur not first.

  • id get the V8

  • but believe me ive got the v6 and that plenty powerful..i mean plenty!!! i live in the gulf and they dont offer the v8 ova here though..besides the fuel consumption is also about average for the v6..it is a vq engine after all
