Anyone who would vote for, or against, any qualified presidential candidate simply because of their religion is not only a bigot, but also Un-American.
"I have many friends that are LDS and the values that I have as a Christian are exactly the values that they are living in their lives...Presbyterians, Methodists, Catholics and LDS it's like there's more that they agree on and so many things that would unite them and it seems like we are looking for disctinctions to tear each other apart." -Mike Hannity
Gov. Romney doesn’t want to be defined by his religion, but his religion defines him as lacking in critical thought. Mormons have Jesus in American and assorted other wacky ideas, not mainstream enough for a nomination.
@wagzel he has already proven he can be not only nominated but successful in a very challenging leadership role as Governor of Massachusetts a predominantly liberal Democratic state. America is made of many different faiths and an ability to choose as we please to call his faith "wacky" is un-American, discriminatory and small-minded, especially given Governor Romney's proven credentials and history. In 2008 Mitt nearly won the primaries in the conservative Southern "bible belt" states.
@Evangelicals4Mitt From the "W" administration we've learned the price of being gullible, why repeat that. Yes, he's seen as having nice hair and taking a nice family picture; do we deserve more?
@wagzel that the entire point of my last comment, and about this entire video for which you posted a comment. You are basing your comment on the fact that we can not believe or trust any politicians, that is exactly why American voters need to take the time and effort to educate themselves rather than go along with the tide of whatver is PC, popular or the flavor of the month.

Wow! I have never heard such a clear, articulate defense of a man's faith at the center of a political controversy. Way to go Mitt!

From the man who has remained married and faithful to the same woman for nearly 40 years which speaks for itself.
