she is ruining Tibetan original songs. Tibetan Associations in USA are so bias when they are hiring singers to perform for their programs. There are more Tibetan singers who perform much better than her, and she is not worth to represent Tibetan women and culture.
@4tibetan I disagree with u. She is not ruining the song..she became popular for making this song different..and by the way Nyingduma is a chinese song which was made into tibetan..so if she makes it in a different way..its her style..and who are u to say she cant represent tibetan women and culture..she is educated and have is working for tibetan cause through her education..so if u hate yeshi khando and are jealous of her success its ur problem...watch this video of her..
@4tibetan Firstly explain what is tibetan culture for you? Do u were chupa everyday? Do u eat momo everyday?do you sing about tibet and fight and protest everyday? no body told anyone that she has to represent something, she is doing what she loves and if you are one of those haters who can't do anything but write critical comments while sitting at home hiding away then your just a loser who needs a life. They hired her to sing because of public demand. Don't use Tibetan culture as an excuse!
@4tibetan She is definitely NOT ruining Tibetan original songs but popularizing them with her unique renditions. Organizers work on the theory of supply and demand. Yeshi is certainly in demand. Besides Tibetan, she sings very well In English, Hindi and Nepali. This song has now become her signature performance.Other singers should perform so that associations can notice them. Or fans like you can bring to their notice. Otherwise, only writing negative comments is just pathetic !!!
