@CryptsDay burlesque is about parody and a story, not always class. I make a living doing this all over the world.

Just because this act wasnt dita's brand of burlesque doesnt mean its disqualified.

I have known dita for about 10 years now and I know all the ladies who used to do it back in the day that are still alive. There is a huge community of people out there who are doing all kinds of burlesque. Who are you to judge?

I looked at your videos, its quite clear that you no right to judge.

Listen I never claimed to be an expert... so dont make this personal. I have a right to an opinion and you if you dont like it.. well thats fine too. I'm not going to lie and say it was great... it wasnt ...sorry and that was my opinion. Part of performing no matter what you do is understanding that not everyone is going to like it. My comment was honest to my feelings of burlesque as an art.. just because I'm not a dancer doesnt mean I am clueless about burlesque history.

Furthermore I came here to respond to you for one reason only... I owe you no explanation or justification of my opinion. However maybe what I said came off wrong or offensive and believe me that was not my intention. So let me rephrase - this style of burlesque is not my cup of tea. I prefer the Von Teese style of Burlesque.

@CryptsDay This is much more polite, realistic and non judgmental. I can appreciate that. This is just one of my many acts... Please see my lotus number, Im sure it would be much more to your taste. I feel variety is important. If everyone was like Dita, this burlesque world would be seriously boring. There's only so many glove peels, fan dances, and bumps and grinds you can watch before you want a story or something more provacative. I have been doing this for over 10 years now.

@CryptsDay have you seen any other of her videos? She's simply stunning. She makes her own costumes, choreographs and more. I was lucky enough to come on stage after her to pick up her beautifully made costume pieces at VIBF. If your only watching Dita your a little closed minded when it comes to burlesque. Don't get me wrong, I love Dita, but there is so much more then just her "style" of burlesque.

@MailaHarlow666 Honestly yes and I didnt mean she was a bad performer.... my original comment came off harsh. So I just simply did not like this performance. there are a lot of amazing burlesque performers... Dita is just my favorite... I respect Amber as an artist :)
