I like this game, I mean the music may not be that good and the story might seem like something out of a Sonic fanfic but its a darn funny game when it comes to the dialouge. Kind of like how Earthbound relied on humor to keep you going rather than the battle system or basic story, I mean it was really amusing to see this game make fun of the Sonic series and other things in the Sonic franchise as well as some other Sonic continuities as well. I mean I got a laugh or two out of this game.
Like the game, hate the music, except the battle soundtrack, and umm... no... no no no no... NO! Sonic Adventure 2 is the most thrilling adventure in Sonic's history, imo...

i like shadow more than shade. i just like shadows ultimate chaos control thing, and his insane, weird, cool past. but i do like shade as a new character, she is definitely a character that should stay. she should be like knuckles partner in crime sort of thing.
This game is good - it incorporates all the cool things about the Sonic series and has a really awesome new character, Shade. Much cooler than Shadow IMO.
Well I think they can bring Sonic back with the other new Sonic game, Sonic and The Black Knight, basically similar gameplay from Unleashed but you use sword play instead but I hope SEGA can bring back the Chao Gardens/Chaos, I miss the little blue thingies.....Infact that's the only reason why I played Sonic Adventures 2 Battle or DX
If this was in Sonic Battle style I would have thought of forgiving them. But it's just plain awful, to much fan service dammit. I'm not even enjoying this Fan Service, probably new generation fans are. But they're just oblivious to the truth. RPG for Sonic games? No, that's just awful.

the funny thing about bioware is that they are keeeping true to all the established stuff that sega seems to slowly forget after the adventure games, example knuckles actually does what he is SUPOSSED to be doing, sonic likes chilly dogs, eggman calls himself robotnik, Amy isnt souly their for bad comic relief, tails is building stufff other than just things that fly etc.
Finnally, a Sonic Role Playing Game, Hot Dawg! It looks just as fun as any other Game with a new Battle System weve all been dying for, Plus WiFi! This should be great, Am I right?

Ever since Final Fantasy came out people have been ripping them off by taking the idea they made, especaily Pokemon that also includes Mario and now Sonic. I'm not saying that I hate those games, but the original Final Fantasy was way better than the way they make these games.

cool! i am certainly looking forward to this game. the only other sonic game i know of when Dr. Robotnik wasnt the enemy was "Sonic and the Secret Rings." i know many ppl were disappointed in that game, but I love playing that game. this new "Sonic Chronicles" game I am most certainly looking forward to just like I am most certainly looking forward to "Sonic Unleashed."

o! i knew BioWare was a great rpg designer or wutever u call it. so "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" was one of their games huh? I've played the 2nd Knights of the Old Republic game and it was a lot of fun! Sonic and RPG is kind of strange in a way, but it works. they can keep the high speed action that they've always had to. the 1st Sonic Adventure had some RPG aspects to some of it and that game turned out to be a fantastic game!

Actually the first game ever made was pong then Mario/Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid came out before Sonic. I don't know when the first Final Fantasy came out though but it was after those games.

No, actually the first "video game" was by lab engineers that created an electronic "tic tac toe" game for themselves. Then came the FIRST video game called "Computer Space".
Based on THAT idea, Nolan Bushnell created Pong. Then Atari and other designers like Activision created hundreds and hundreds of games for Arcades and the Atari 2600 which eventually crashed the market.
Then Nintendo brought back the game market from death with Donkey Kong and later, the Nintendo Entertainment System.

I'm not sure about the tic tac toe, but pong came out before computer space becaues pong came out before computers, and I was talking about the Nintendo games and Sonic not arcade games.

Uh, yeah... I have played the other games like Final Fantasy such as Pokemon and others they all sucked except for a game called Etrian Oddyssey. And I'm not an ass for having an opinion you dick, it's my opinion that Final Fantasy and Etrian Oddyssey are the only games that should be RPG, it is not bullshit to have opinion. For everyone who wants the ability to have an opinion and not be forced to like what someone else likes give me a thumbs up for my comment not because of my opinion on rpgs.

I'm not talking about your opinion. I'm talking about the fact you think that every RPG is based on Final Fantasy. There is a very fine line that defines JRPG's to Western RPGs.

Morrowind is a Western RPG.
By all means have an opinion. But saying that, its just like saying all FPS' copied Doom, all survival horror games copied Resident Evil etc etc. The list can go on.
But like I previously stated, theres a fine line between Western RPG's and JRPGs. you can't exactly throw them in the same category.

cool! i am certainly looking forward to this game. the only other sonic game i know of when Dr. Robotnik wasnt the enemy was "Sonic and the Secret Rings." i know many ppl were disappointed in that game, but I love playing that game. this new "Sonic Chronicles" game I am most certainly looking forward to just like I am most certainly looking forward to "Sonic Unleashed."

o! i knew BioWare was a great rpg designer or wutever u call it. so "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" was one of their games huh? I've played the 2nd Knights of the Old Republic game and it was a lot of fun! Sonic and RPG is kind of strange in a way, but it works. they can keep the high speed action that they've always had to. the 1st Sonic Adventure had some RPG aspects to some of it and that game turned out to be a fantastic game!

i really do have SOME experience..you should get Legend of zelda:phantom hourglass, Pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of darkness, and Mario Hoops 3 on 3! those are extremely fun :)
