  • anyone who disagrees with Bourdain just stick a fork in it...you're all stupid twats

  • Bourdain is the man

  • Wow. I had respect for Bourdain before I saw this.

  • If Newt Gingrich or someone other than Mitt Romney becomes our nominee. Bourdain unfortunately will have been proven right. Newt Gingrich is NOT presidential material. He isn't extreme, he's just crazy, undisciplined, and divisive.

  • Too bad you didn't have the cojones to post the entire segment. You can't have meaningful discourse about anything when you censor the views that oppose your own.

  • As a liberal, I am against wasteful spending (ask my husband). I'm for the greater good, against greed and accumulation of wealth just for the sake of ego while others suffer. I'm for small business over big. I'm only for gov't regulation when it protects the powerless. e.g.. Corporations thinking of profit while endangering our health (both economical health and physical health). The GOP is about spreading fear of change and non-acceptance. Protecting their personal wealth at all costs.

  • When all else fails, look for spelling errors.

  • i love bourdain. and he was right, 'hell hounds on his tail' was a great book. and he's right, the tea party is marginalizing the decent half way normal republicans.

  • ok, so Americans don't like their constitution? Seems most on this page like sucking up to politics.

  • "Smearing" the Tea Party? They do a pretty good job of making themselves look like shrieking idiots all by themselves. Bourdain doesn't do bull crap; he just says things the way he sees them. More likely than not 10 minutes later he'd be saying something that'd make you go "yeah!! Uh huh. you tell 'em Tony."

  • I would love to have seen how that pedophile draft dodging douchebag Ted Nugent responded to that one.

  • @WillieReptile Oh dear Repitile you have so elegantly stated the facts on that "turd" Ted....Thank you for sharing your thoughts...keep up the fine work...

  • People who travel the world tend to be less selfish/more openminded (unlike Conservatives). Those selfish whiners should travel internationally more and get to know other cultures. We Americans are brainwashed into thinking we're "all that," but we'd better get our acts together or we'll never survive another 200 years as a "world power." I don't understand why any middle class person would support Republicans=big money/corporations who are killing America. Research EU vs. U.S. food laws.

  • @gentleradical US food laws? What laws? lol

  • @gentleradical I'm a moderate libertarian conservative and I've traveled to every continent.

  • Astroturfing, pitching fearful folks on extreme ideas is bound to produce some serious blow back.

  • Tony Bourdain is fucking awesome. Funny thing is, he's friends with Ted Nugent.

  • "Your looking at alot of marginal, very angry, white people." Nailed it.

  • @moosefart: Interestingly enough the New York Times (Liberal leaning propaganda rag) did an article that showed Tea Party supporters are better educated and higher earners than your average American.

I can bet your average John Stuart or Bill Maher fans are unemployed pot heads who still live at home. Try reading Thomas Sowell or Alex de Tocqueville unless you lack the intellectual horsepower.

  • @espada9 ...thus proving that you yourself are *not* one of those "more educated" and probably not a higher earner either. Stewart and Maher are both college graduates and although I can't say this for Maher, Stewart is in control of more intellectual power than any fifteen other people, the man is a fairly unrivaled genius.

  • @moosefart: Damn right, he nailed it except for the "marginal" comment. The Tea party helped republicans trounce the democrats in 2010. There's nothing marginal about that. Those angry white people are the people who make this country work. They are the business owners and the tax base. If liberals weren't on perpetual lunatic spending sprees there wouldn't be a Tea Party. All the modern liberal stands for today is the confiscation of other people's wealth and the expansion of the state.

  • I'm glad I didn't have to listen to Ted Nugent say anything. Bourdain rocks.

  • Well the original Teaparty was called into life as a protest against a tax cut

that was given to a (foreign) tea company. It made them the sole importer of tea in the US back in those days. Other entrepreneurs involved with import of tea were now called smugglers, because it was illegal now for them to import tea into the US. The current Teaparty has not so much to do with the original Teaparty. It is a cleverly disguised scheme to get the rich richer.

  • Ted Nugent crapped his pants and left it that way for a week to avoid getting drafted for Vietnam. He's a real patriot.

  • I'm in love....

  • Thumbs up for Bourdain, not the subbie. 'Baggers are a bunch of whiny know-nothings who think you can run a govt. with unicorn farts and rainbows.

  • the teabaggers are as good for the republican party as flamboyant cross dressing homosexuals are good for gay rights.

  • @atubeofbengay Nailed it.

  • I'm a republican and i approve this message.

  • Both Tea and the Republican party are Equally ignorent. Known Fact.

  • @MetalObsessed1 Please learn how to spell "ignorant" I-G-N-O-R-A-N-T before you use the word.

  • oooooh, "hellhound on his trail", how timely and politically correct, tony. nice sound byte for miss cooper--sack full of hammers...as cliched as your feeble attempts at writing.

  • Regardless of one's views, why in the fuck is Anthony Bourdain on a political panel on CNN?! ...probably because it is CNN.

  • @tomorrow528 Same thing Ted Nugent is

  • Does anyone think this will really hurt his ratings? Aren't most "tea baggers" either listening to Glenn Beck for advice or watching tractor pulls on the Hillbilly Channel?

Seriously, I live in DC and had to come down town when their rally was going on. I don't think there has ever been a bigger gathering of fat mouth breathing white people looking for the nearest Cracker Barrel in history.

  • @sarsfield65 Are you retarded? Do you think that Bourdain would ever go to something so horrible as that disgusting chain restaurant? Why would you think hes on the "Hillbilly Channel"? have you ever watches his shows? Read his books? Is his political view not blatantly obvious to everyone by now? Why would you ever make such a stupid and uninformed comment?

  • @mmaluchnik The point was that it won't hurt his ratings because most Tea Party members aren't interested in anything, such as travel shows like Bourdain and books in general, outside of their xenophobic universe that Glenn Beck tells them about.

Because Bourdain in NOT on the Hillbilly Channel they wouldn't be aware of who he is. Sorry if that was too complicated for you to grasp.

  • Anthony Bourdain just murdered the Tea Bag Party. Anthony Bourdain 1, Tea Bag Party 0.

  • Bourdain is awesome. He speaks the truth. Fuck the Tea Bag Party. They are nothing but a bunch of racist senile ass holes.

  • Most of the conservative ideology is out of date. They call themselves progressive when in fact they are regressing back to fucking ancient times. They are a bunch of fucking senile pricks. They need to learn how to accept the fact that America has changed.

  • I see all this fat old people talking about free health care at those Tea bag rallies. I guess these dumb motherfuckers need to look in the miror and realize that in a few years they will most benefit from the a stabalized health care program.

  • What i find most amusing is when Republicans attempt to reach out to Hispanics and African Americans. The only Hispanics and African Americans I see align themselves with that party are oreo cookies and coconuts. They are the ones who attempt to disassociate themselves from their race and culture. They see themselves as better than the rest. So fuck the Tea Bag party and fuck some Republicans. Everyone likes to talk about President Obama. Lets not forget what Bush did.

  • Anthony Bourdain couldnt have said it any better. I work with an angry tea bager. He is always ranting about President Barack Obama being a communist. He talks about Mexicans (Hispanics) trying to take over the world. He goes on and on. All i do is listen to him talk. He is about sixty something. He talks about black people being monkey's. He associates himself with the Republican party. I say to my self. This is why i would never vote republican. Because of paranoid, racist people like you.

  • The Tea Party is the invention of Pee Tea Barnum and all the other corporate lobbyist groups that fund Republican stonewalling of reform.

  • It's too bad that the message of people like Ron Paul and other libertarians who are worried about big government, perpetual war and spending was co-opted by Bachman, Palin, etc.

  • @dgl1962

I never mentioned Jews and have no reason to come to their defense. To be fair; I did read a National Geographic article a few years ago about sex slave human trafficking in Israel, and had no reason to doubt it's accuracy.

I abhor human slavery no matter who is engaged in it...

  • @dgl1962

Also, the Arabs and other Muslims are STILL trafficking humans as slaves in many parts of the world...

  • @dgl1962 not to mention the black slaves were sold by blacks themselves.

  • @dgl1962 Now THAT's creative,

Doesn't change a bloody thing anyway, but you go on with whatever you gotta believe to help you sleep at night man. .

  • @dgl1962 some Jews may be racist, but you most certainly are. I congratulate you for being open about your position.

  • @dgl1962 and threw those same shackles on American Indians and kidnapped Africans. Lets not pretend that was an ethically admirable action. Hypocritical moreso.

  • Fine example of the halo effect, where a cook gets to expound upon politics. Tony Bourdain is a freakin' COOK.

  • As of today I am an ex-fan of Anthony Bourdain.

and letting Travel Channel know this too

  • @SantaBarbaraDianne zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • yay!!

  • Bourdain is awesome. Truth hurts. They are as dumb as a bag of hammers. They also need to go back to school and learn how to spell and understand proper grammer. Dolts.

  • @zinovy08 "They also need to go back to school and learn how to spell and understand proper grammer. Dolts." I think you should follow the same advice, seeing as how your sentence structure is all kinds of wrong. "They need to go back to school "TO" learn how to spell and understand proper gramm"A"r.

  • @zinovy08 Yes, because "grammer" is definitely the correct spelling of "grammar." You sure hit the nail on the head, dolt!

  • @zinovy08 It's amusing and more than a little ironic that the person criticizing the supposed spelling and grammatical inadequacies of Tea Partiers himself misspelled "grammer [sic]" in his silly critique.

  • @zinovy08 of course if you want your nanny state looking out for ya, that's ok? grow some bollocks

  • @zinovy08 "grammer" or grammar?

thanks for displaying your profound intellect

  • bourdain is awesome

  • What an irrational, brain-washed ass.

  • I see Toni Coops getting the inside scoop from the real Washington insiders and Political geniuses ! Who Honestly watches these douche bags anyway, are there more than ten of them ?

  • Anderson Cooper loves to teabag.

This dolt Bourdain thinks the Tea Party is 'Taking over the party...'?

    LMFAO

  • Anthony, are my fries done yet. If not shut up and cook.

  • You are free to give up all your money, Anthony, voluntarily, but don't ask the senior citizens of the tea party who have worked their asses of to build this great country and have not done anything wrong to lose their savings to the marxist dreams.

  • Ok, guys, we need conservative comapnies and shows. No more Bourdains, and GE products.

  • @BlueSkies360

You also need more conservative spell checkers (ie. comapnies). What is it about you dolts, who can't even master spelling and grammar of the english language? Why do you think you're more intelligent than most people and call other people (non tea-party folks) kool-aid drinkers? You people seem to have no shame loudly displaying your ignorance on a whole host of issues. The truth hurts. You are as dumb as a sack full of hammers.

  • @zinovy08 I am sorry for the spelling mistakes--English is my third language.

  • dammit, i liked his show. oh well.

  • @nugeforprez32264

Watch his show. Then write his advertisers and tell them that if he wants to get political, you will NOT buy from them. That has more impact than you will know.

    Boycott his sponsors!!!

  • Just curious, where were all you people during the Bush Administration? I remember all that "stand behind your president" rhetoric, where is that now? Yeah Anthony's commentary was perhaps a stretch but racist imagery is inescapable within the tea party. Why dont you just go join the libertarian party? Oh wait, you have a social agenda too. It's not just economics.

  • @lhasa1951 Racist imagery is inescapable with Black Enterainment Television, Black Music Awards, black magazines and affirmative action presidents.

  • Watch his ratings drop like hot cakes.

  • @quizerry write to Travel Channel. There are better humans for his gig.

  • he just lost a fan

  • Comment removed

  • Take your teapot and shove it up your ass.

  • Bourdain ROCKS!!

  • well Mr. Bourdain that will not buff out

  • Well then, fuck Bourdain.

  • Anderson cooper is a Vanderbilt and CIA . Look it up.

  • Bunch of freaks on that panel.

  • Lets all lie about Americans who want the country run in the manner it was intended. It's only been successful for 234 years. Government will eat all you feed it and never become full.

  • @carolinatinpan Agree totally. Time to take it back!

  • I guess this guy uses the theory that if you tell a lie over and over again it will become true. Bashing the Tea Party is really getting old because obviously they're still here and all this bullshit about them being violent white people just proves they have no idea what they are talking about. I guess all the black tea party members don't count in their books. Maybe they are invisible because they dont fit the narrative of their story.

  • I like Bourdain for his cooking/travel show but this is the first time I've been exposed to his politics, just because he can read a few books doesnt make him an expert thats for sure! As soon as someone brings race into these issues they lose all credibility in my mind. I just lost any respect for Anthony Bourdain!

  • I use to watch your show. Not anymore.

Your name will be added to the list of other HOLLYWOOD BIG GOVERNMENT USEFUL IDIOTS I WILL NO LONGER SUPPORT.

  • No, I've never been to a Tea-party and have never met these people so because of my IGNORANCE I WILL CONDEMN THEM.

    Who looks CRAZY Anthony?

    Janeane Garafalo?

    Senn Penn?

    Woody Allen?

    Joy Behar? etc?

I would call all of the above CRAZY.

    You too you elitist asshole.

  • @NWsubmom Willful ignorance is not an excuse. The Tea Party is about the constitution and only the constitution.

  • @valmorgan Well said!

  • Anthony Bourdain = Mindless alcoholic.

  • When it doubt, play the race card. IF you don't want to look as dumb as a sack of hammers, please respond with points you disagree with the tea party on. Did that not teach you that at the Culinary Institute of America. Guess you are not paying attention to the elections and polls you moron. Which part of WE ARE OUT OF MONEY , QUIT SPENDING do these morons not understand? Balance the budget., limit government spending, and identify constitutionality of each new law is so hard to get?

  • HAHAHA!!!! This shit is so true. I mean the GOP's course of action lost them the election in 08 and they are on the same track. The same racist white folks who would show up at the McCain Palin rallies are now with the 'tea party'. What a fucking joke.

  • @troysr2005 Yep McCain and Palin are Neo Cons and the Tea Party sees right through them. Noice try coopting it lmfao.

  • Anthony who? He is a what?

  • Gee I see a trend here, is the left trying to paint the American people as mean Racist? No, come on they wouldnt do that.

Fuck Anderson Cooper (He started the Teabagger Bullshit) And Bourdain is just a fucking druged out moron.

  • This guy truly is an uneducated dolt...the proof is the over-hyped stereo type including the Wallace run for office. That said, this dolt might find it interesting that MANY people are angry at this moment in time because of the Federal government, because of massive illegal immigration, because of a health care bill that benefits welfare bums at the expense of those who make 80k per year or more, for the record it's in the bill. When he says people are angry, he's just not including the rest.

  • The man basically admitted he's never been to a Tea Party. He goes by what he sees on his television set (when he's not in Vietnam patronizing the local culinary culture with his condescending prose). In short: the guy is talking out of his ass.

  • @TheShannon76 NOM! He's an assbag

  • @TheShannon76 You uneducated Moron calling someone with a broad perspective an ass. Irony!

  • man what an asshole

  • The Tea Party movement won't amount to anything in the end because in this totally controlled system they have no choice but to try and translate their successes through the Republican Party, and the Republican Party is where democracy goes to die. They aren't real political opposition, their job is to control the white middle and lower classes for the system in exchange for a chance to service their Wall Street benefactors. They'll eat these people alive.

  • @boc234 Someone on Youtube USING THEIR BRAIN!!!! I'm really shocked.

  • What we're witnessing is the criminalization of whiteness by the extreme left. The left once stood for things, whether they were right or wrong, now they've just degenerated into a sad, immoral, hate movement, obsessed with hatred of all things white. It is exactly this sort of white-hating rhetoric, and the actions that go along with it, that is driving Obama's nose-dive, and justly so.

  • ARIZONA leads the nation is shoving Communism back up the unRead Hole of Obama. How wonderful! America is Rebirthing American Again. Freedom from foreign pretenders, leeches, NoseMoles, and antiAmerican invaders. AzzPlates, illegals and other communist naked chest thumpers need not apply.

  • Ah Two elitist Obamaites enjoying an evening of bashing Conservative Americans. Bourdain can't help his ignorance his brain has become a fried egg, he ditched his first wife and then shacked up with a younger woman, now has a three year old child at age 54. His elitism is evident. No reservations left in the ole brain Tony. Don't get me started on silver spoon cooper.

  • He's gained weight since he stopped shooting heroin.

  • Bourdain is a typical "I don't know anyone who voted for Reagan" douchebag who hasn't a clue about America outside of his insulated world of Manhattan.

He thinks everyone thinks like he does and those that don't, should.

And all people are welcome to TP rallies.

Even clueless, race hustler NYC boobs like Bourdain.

He might even learn a thing or two about the TP and about America, but he would rather remain intellectually and willfully ignorant, while bad-mouthing good, honest American's.

  • @dgl1962 see! THINLY disguised

  • teabaggers are thinly disguised racist inbreds

  • he is just a fucking chef get over it.

  • Bourdain is a pig and he will live to regret making these hateful remarks !

  • @AriesLudzik you are a creamy vanilla pudding

  • Nugent shot Bourdain with his bow, skinned the little liberal douche and grilled him up Cajon style. Like all Liberals, they taste good with a glass of French wine because their meat is soft and fatty from living off the welfare system.

  • @gwgn02 aren't you late for the militia meeting you complete nutbag

  • @busherbee Yeah my scope is sighted on 2010 and removing the progressive Obamarxists from power. Run Forest RUN!!!!

  • @gwgn02 hopefully, your cancer diagnosis will arrive in the mail by then, nuts like you should not procreate if humans want to remain a thinking species

  • Does anyone know what "The Nuge" said back? I'm lazy and don't want to look it up.

  • What a tool - He doesn't answer the question. Instead, he goes on some whacked out rant and conspiracy theories.

In other words, he hasn't been to a Tea Party and only knows what he reads about them in left-wing publications and left-wing media.

"Tea Party? - Why they're nothing but shotgun toting rednecks who want to kill black people" is what he pretty much said.

Anyone have a link to the entire interview?

  • @phpeters87

    ummmmmm...... they are...

  • @phpeters87 it's like looking at a field of typing paper that fell off a truck, or a klan rally draped in union jack red white and blue. not american red white and blue

  • @busherbee - Maybe that's because Union thugs beat up black people like Kenneth Gladney for attending TP rallies and hurl racial slurs at them.

    watch?v=zTXBOgPCh9w

It's the lefties that are the people causing violence when they protest.

    Proven fact.

Playing the worn out race card won't help you in November.

  • @phpeters87 Yes, we all really believe that you are NOT a racist, uh huh

  • @busherbee - Another lefty playing the worn out race card?

Seems the only people talking about race are from the left.

Sounds like some defensive projecting to me.

Was it racist when 95% of black voters voted against a white man named McCain?

    If not, why not?

Can you answer without name-calling and making false accusations?

  • @phpeters87 Very well said young man!!

  • @crazyfool8839 hello scrote face

  • @busherbee -The South Carolina Republicans nominated

a tea party-backed Indian-American woman to run for governor and a conservative

black man to run for Congress from the former Confederate state. So go peddle your

"the tea party is racist" bullshit somewhere else.

  • @phpeters87 have you BEEN to a tea party? It ain't a wrinkly old snowstorm for nuthin.

  • @busherbee - I've been to several.

They are open to people of all ages, races, and colors.

If Blacks choose not to attend Tea Parties, then it's on them, not the Tea Partiers.

  • @phpeters87 David Duke rallies quacked exactly the same, coincidence? teapartyjesus.tumblr. com

  • @busherbee - Why don't you ask former Klansman Robert Byrd?

Oh, he passed away last week, but not before spending his career as a high-ranking Democrat.

BTW, according to Gallup, 75% of all US Residents are Non-Hispanic Whites while 79% of Tea Party supporters are Non-Hispanic Whites.

You lefties are overplaying the race card based on a 4% differential in the racial makeup of Tea Party supporters compared to the rest of the US

The only people making race an issue is the left.

  • What a fuking Knob.
