Obama thinks we need to pay more; more for free college tuition, to rid the world of poverty, matching 401k money for the poor. How in Gods name are we supposed to pay for all of this? I pay enough taxes. All of the rising costs are harder for me to pay for since each week Uncle Sam keeps taking more money. Yet everyone thinks Obama is the best candidate.

Actually UHC is cheaper than the system you have now. Whether you see it as a fee or as a tax make no difference, you pay more per capita for your health care than any other country and you still have 50 million people that don't have insurance and of those that have insurance many of them are under-covered.
The countries that have UHC all have longer life expectancy, cheaper care and overall better care as proven by investigations by WHO.

See now i am white, and I don't like when i hear other white people saying "Oh they are just throwing down the race card", or "racism doesn't exist" because well, as a Canadian i am under the impression that there still is a lot of racism still in the united states and i just kinda feel like, they have only been free from slavery for , what 150 yrs? and when did segregation stop? really not that long ago. The race card isn't valid anymore. Slavery is gone. Segregation is gone. There's only a small portion of the country that is still in any way really racist (by which I am referring to some of the deep south). Not one person alive was ever a slave, and very few even had parents that were. Race may still be an issue in some areas, but anyone using slavery as their card is ignorant. America is an equal opportunity place. Sure, wealthier people get better chances, but color doesn't determine that.

Barrack Obama has a serious problem with stuttering. It gets obnoxious after awhile, and greatly takes away from his "message" and the idea that he is an effective communicator. All this post-primary campaign has shown us about Obama is that he isn't what he was cracked up to be. No new ideas introduced, nothing solid to fall back on besides his communication skills, which as illustrated here, aren't that great to begin with.

This is a classical Republican attack machine at work. These black guys were planted by the GOP to disrupt Obama's speech. However, Obama's answers were poignant and very accurate. These young men have the option to vote for a different candidate if they think Obama is not capable of dealing with the issues they raised, or they should run for public office themselves someday. Obama is bright, well mannered and decent. You can tell in that exchange.

Actually UHC is cheaper than the system you have now. Whether you see it as a fee or as a tax make no difference, you pay more per capita for your health care than any other country and you still have 50 million people that don't have insurance and of those that have insurance many of them are under-covered.
The countries that have UHC all have longer life expectancy, cheaper care and overall better care as proven by investigations by WHO.

Hahah you think our govt would make it cheap? Govt would be nothing more than a "blank check" for doctors and hospitals to charge whatever they want for their services. We've all seen the 20/20 specials on our governments at various levels blowing our tax money. They buy tools for more than 100 dollars a piece that you can find at your local hardware store for $14. It just wouldn't come directly out of your pocket. It would be deducted from your paychecks before you ever see it.

Okay, you seem to be talking about a socialized central health care system and not UHC. Either way, you have the most expensive health care in the world and you're the only developed country in the world without UHC. Reality doesn't agree with your misconceptions.
In Germany they have UHC with private insurance companies and they have managed to have a better system, for everybody, that is also cheaper. So you don't need government owned and run hospitals to have UHC...

Germany has shorter waiting lists than the US so do other countries too. You realize that the insurance companies to date spend almost a quarter billion dollars on lobbying, and even more on down-right propaganda. Well you have eaten it up, I can see that.
You already have the freest health market in the western world, it is not regulation that is the problem, it is the lack. Insurance companies compete in who can deny most people, who can take the most money and give the least care...
