This is only the second version of this song I've ever heard (the first being Figgy Duff), and I keep wondering if it's not perhaps a piece of a song.
The line goes "the lot it fell first upon/unto Henry Martin", which implies to me that there were later lots drawn, but I haven't seen any longer version of the lyrics.
