Hey Everybody! I have just released my new electronic album “Sub-Zero” which is heavily influenced by the world of Silent Hill and the music of Akira Yamaoka. If you're interested you can listen to the full album on my youtube channel, as well as download the album for free!
Something about this track really suits Vincent and Heather's relationship, doesn't it? You never really truly understand Vincent, since he lies to you so often and plays so many head games with you...
Anyway, this is the best track in an amazing game.
this song reflects the death itself in a vast darkness that grabs you for a few seconds and make u think u r alone in the world with constant pain and suffer
... first of all, saying something like that makes me feel like you have no idea what you're talking about... second, grammar and spelling help get a point across.
One of my favourites from SH3, phenomenal... Nothing could emphasize the dark, cold and gruesome atmosphere of Silent Hill better than Yamaoka's music.
although i admit storywise silent hill 3 was not so great when compared to the others, in terms of fear factor i found it to be off the charts. Silent hill 2 may have the story but geez, Silent hill 3 has got the scares.
i cant bring myself to play this game all the way thorough its too damn creepy..im more of a zombie person then some fucked up monster with no face or appendages attacking me while im walking down a hall
Im a HUGE SILENT HILL fan. But even if i wasnt silent hill series hands down has the BEST music!!!! its so scarry! i hope SH5 akira still got the nack for it!
As great as this track is (and its certainly one of the best in the series), it really does an excellent job capturing the feelings of a stray child here being loneliness, isolation, fear, and maybe some hope.
the game's soundtrack is goosebump inducing.. thnx goes to Konami for includings the soundtrack disc with the game. Very very few companies bother doing that.
I wish more would, it's Hell trying to find the Gears of War soundtrack - I bought the limited edition, I expected a soundtrack CD. And The Orange Box came with a soundtrack included... but only in Russia! Why on Earth? I'm just ranting here, sorry.
this song makes me feel like searching for something!!!

Should try to play this game with no lights on, at night. It got a different feel...

Yeah it feels like you are connected to the game, and that is fucking creepy.
The best part about SH3 is that when you know what's going to happen next, you still get scared of it!

oh, make sure youre the only one awake too... it makes you feel like the main charactor

Excellent game. Can't believe how good the graphics were and still are! Akira Yamaoka's music contributes alot to the atmosphere.

I love the games as well as Akira Yamaoka's music for the games but this was my least favorite soundtrack.
Oh yeah, though you may like Akira Yamaoka's music for the games does not mean that his music by himself is good cause it isn't.
zhoban 2 years ago
@SupraDarky As Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation said, 3 was a good game, but it's only sin was to go back to the "Doofus Brigade" from the first game.
