I got an idea..let's get the govt. completely out of the healthcare business. NO govt. sponsored HMO's, NO lobbyists for the AMA and private insurance. The change I am getting is spend spend spend. $787B stimulus, $410B omni bill, $1.6 T budget, all passed without any ready the bills or the budget. Bush caused our initial deficit, 10billion a month in Iraq for 6 years, not counting afganastan, even more money. If you added evey thing Bush spent in his 8 years, it would cost more than the stimulus plan itself. And the stimulus to the auto and banking sectors have to be repaid. The wars that Bush and the repubs in congress created were a total waste of money.

As important as this is, why do we put it into the hands of a few Congressmen who have, time after time, demonstrated that they do NOT represent us? Better to have a national citizen initiative placed on the next ballot so EVERYONE can vote for or against it. At least SOME OF US would read it!

Another problem is not having tort reform.
