Nice idea and design. I recently ruptured my bicep tendon lifting my sled into a pick up. I had to have sugery too. It ruined the rest of this snowmobile season and may effect part of my motorcycle season too.
This isnt my link. what are u saying this is somone elses who i dont know. I just didnt like how u bashed on him cuz he was a farmer or whatever he is. dont judge poeple u have no right
You are right on about the steeper the ramp the easier it is to load. That's how I originally had the ramp set up, problem then became getting the sled up the ramp. You would either start spinning once the skis got up the ramp part ways, or you had to hit the ramp too fast. One day I will make a new system that is better, I just threw this one together the day before I went on a trip and needed to get the sled in the truck.

I been backing my truck up to a ditch and putting mine on with a snow bank, this makes flat land loading way better.

Nice idea. Now picture it built of Aluminum and using a winch in the truck box to do all the work.

@chcp2007 Now you're talking. :) I have thought about the winch, if I ever get one from harbor freight cheap enough.

Not a bad set up but a little hard on the back lifting the ramp up. Could be a little hard by your self.

very nice vid you put the whole thing together very well, ya dont listen to those other 2 jackasses about the snowbank thing lol

that is a great design!!
I think if you had a steeper ramp, that the sled has to climb further up on (and further onto the truck) will give you better leverage as well.
