  • I am 36 and been menopausal since 30, vitamin D and Calcium defecient and unable to walk much. Getting a DEXA april 15th and worried as I have broken a few bones including my left leg which now has a nice bony knob and is excruciatingly painful with cold weather. I am also prone to bone spurs and have them on my heels and both knees.

  • I am a 47 male, never smoked, always worked out alot, 5 years ago I awoke one morning with a broken neck. After surgery and many months in bed, I was up and picking something up and crushed L4 L5. This is killing me, I have the bones of a 96 year old women.

  • I was diagnosed with osteopenia last year. I'm a guy living in Ireland and have just recently turned 18. I don't smoke but am pretty thin and have been on steroids for asthma, the doctors reckon that's why I have it.

  • I was thin my hole life, this disease is killing me and just wish it all would end, I wish the best for you, not much for drugs for us men, what they give you is full of women's hormones and I won't take them anymore, caused a lot of problems in me.

  • aloha!

  • Je vous comprend pas ??

    :o(

    Bonne Journée

  • Thanks for putting this up. I am currently writing an essay about smoking and its effects on osteoporosis. The doc gave me some great websites to look at. Cheers mate
