If your really into hop I would suggest drinking it as fresh as possible! i have found the 8 to 10 month a perfect balance for malt and hop. Im not much of a hop head and 120 IBU is just to much for me unbalanced without some serious malt.

I highly recommend Lagunitas IPA, Lagunitas Sucks, which is awesome because they usually release a beer called brown sugga, but they couldnt this year. they apologized with the most tasty beer i had this year. Also try Sierra Nevada and Dogfish Head collabo called Life and Limb, which is great for aging. Its actually made for it. Also anything by Deschuttes. I recomend you take those beers off your fridge and store them in a dark cold place between 50-60 degrees F because heat will ruin ur ber

That's awesome you got into craft beers! That 21st Amendment Watermelon beer is made just down the road from me! I agree, I think it's actually quite good.
Festina Peche is not a sour actually. It's a German style (BerlinerWeisse), basically a tangy hefeweizen. That's great you're aging beer as well. The 120min could age for over 10 years if you want to. I have several beers in my cellar that's super high in ABV.
btw, I hope you weren't gonna drink that wheat beer out of a CAN. you need some Hefeweizen (wheat beer) beer glasses. Every brewery in Bavaria has their own. Beerwise, I recommend Erdinger or Franziskaner for starters. or Schneiderweisse. there are millions. that's why my liver's shot.

I also do craft beer reviews here on youtube, and have done so for the past two years, and its a nice hobby, and a great way of spreading the ''gospel'' of great beer, to get people away from the popsi Mc. it seems like you're slipping in and out of your accent... at times saying "beer" without the american "R" sound at the end, and then at times, sounding just like an american, with the hard "R" sound.. wtf is that all about?
Dogfish Head 120min IPA is a pretty intense beer (it's my roommates favorite). Please make more beer videos! Also, if you haven't already, brewing beer is a lot of fun, give it a try.
If you are into beer then you should seriously consider returning to Europe. No offense but american beer generally tastes like pisswater in comparison. My personal favorite is Heineken but I'll gladly drink any german or czechoslovakian beer. I wish to visit the UK/Ireland at some point and get a feel for their beer culture aswell.

Never never never age a hoppy beer.. Reason why is the hops break down and loose flavor fast. Beers that age well are darker with more malty flavors. The residual sugars which give a beer its sweet taste also react well with the alcohol to create mellow, subtle flavors. Also, you will not see yeast or what we call bottle conditioning in cans causer it will explode, but when you get a (yeast settlement) in the bottle aged beer you should pour the beer in a glass slowly and at an angle.
@Brycesaggiebabe You do not want to mix the yeast. BTW a very hoppy beer is an IPA in cause you didn't know. I am an home brewer, and a beer snob! When you said you were aging a 120 min IPA you made me cringe! I can give you so many recommendations if you would like to give me what you like in a beer. Two beers I can say by watching this you need to try is Monk's Cafe it is a sour Flemish ale, and Golden Monkey by Victory. Hope you keep up with your beer explorations!!

That's awesome you got into craft beers! That 21st Amendment Watermelon beer is made just down the road from me! I agree, I think it's actually quite good.
Festina Peche is not a sour actually. It's a German style (BerlinerWeisse), basically a tangy hefeweizen. That's great you're aging beer as well. The 120min could age for over 10 years if you want to. I have several beers in my cellar that's super high in ABV.

btw, I hope you weren't gonna drink that wheat beer out of a CAN. you need some Hefeweizen (wheat beer) beer glasses. Every brewery in Bavaria has their own. Beerwise, I recommend Erdinger or Franziskaner for starters. or Schneiderweisse. there are millions. that's why my liver's shot.

How awesome that you are a craft beer nerd! You should join the ''beertube'' community and do some beer vlogging/reviews. I also do craft beer reviews here on youtube, and have done so for the past two years, and its a nice hobby, and a great way of spreading the ''gospel'' of great beer, to get people away from the popsi Mc. Lagers like Budweiser etc. xP . Trying all these different great beers also really helps develop your palate. Cheers! -Peter

If you are into beer then you should seriously consider returning to Europe. No offense but american beer generally tastes like pisswater in comparison. My personal favorite is Heineken but I'll gladly drink any german or czechoslovakian beer. I wish to visit the UK/Ireland at some point and get a feel for their beer culture aswell.

Never never never age a hoppy beer.. Reason why is the hops break down and loose flavor fast. Beers that age well are darker with more malty flavors. The residual sugars which give a beer its sweet taste also react well with the alcohol to create mellow, subtle flavors. Also, you will not see yeast or what we call bottle conditioning in cans causer it will explode, but when you get a (yeast settlement) in the bottle aged beer you should pour the beer in a glass slowly and at an angle.

@Brycesaggiebabe You do not want to mix the yeast. BTW a very hoppy beer is an IPA in cause you didn't know. I am an home brewer, and a beer snob! When you said you were aging a 120 min IPA you made me cringe! I can give you so many recommendations if you would like to give me what you like in a beer. Two beers I can say by watching this you need to try is Monk's Cafe it is a sour Flemish ale, and Golden Monkey by Victory. Hope you keep up with your beer explorations!!
