why does mckenna make a point about being closed-mindedly afraid and paranoid of christianity at the end of this section? doesn't make sense how someone so liberal about dissolving cultural boundaries would keep one up out of a paranoid rejection. seeing un-rationalized rejection only makes the rejected seem more worthy of an open-minded approach towards thinking about it. denial is never a means of freedom of thought
hes alluding to the tendency for a spark of enlightenment to become swamped with madness. (i.e. the benevolent force of christ turning into the crusading madness of christianity). Look at it this way: current christianity is much different from the pure teachings of christ 2,000 years ago. or if you were forced to call one subject "mad" what would it be: christ or christianity? give it a ponder i'd love to converse.
i am well aware of how culture has corrupted christianity. i am also aware of highly enlightened christians. current christianity isn't just different from the pure teachings of christ, but also the same; meaning; there are some wacky christians, and there are some not; meaning; don't judge christianity based off of the loud loonies. i don't believe christ or christianity is mad unless your ego can't see the difference between christianity and western culture, which is both ignorant and arrogant
@amazingblur Don't forget that this man channeled this information. I go to a pentecostal church and it freaks me out sometimes; fact-of-the-matter is, communication with God is freaky business.
@PandoraLeigh remember what he said about 5's? like the pentagram? so what's the pentecost to get in? is it luciferian or just venutian? channelled bwahahaha?
@PandoraLeigh I don't think he was communicating with God. It's possible, but I think he was communicating with either humans in other galaxies, universes or dimensions, aliens, or humans that have already died or that haven't been born yet. That's my opinion.
@kid43332 - A *way* simpler explanation is that he made it up. A person can find patterns in anything if they look hard enough. (You may enjoy the movie "Pi" by Darren Arnofsky, which is also about numerology)
Here's a good distinction between Christianity and "Christian culture:" How many Christians in your mind have read the Bible and not had it dictated to them by false prophets? Christians who are false prophets don't seem to recognize Matthew 7:1 and Mark 7: 1-23. The sad thing is, enlightened Christians walk the walk, but can hardly talk about it because people are becoming prejudice at the slightest mention of Christ these days and they know not to push but rather act with love.
The corruption of christianity runs deeper than opinions and sects. The words of the bible have been changed, leaving no basis for a valid interpretation of Christ.
If I was forced to call one subject "mad" I wouldn't. As I implied deviant Christians are not Christians, or at least not following the Christian path. As far as Christ goes, virtually all enlightened people were called mad: Socrates, Plato, Nietzsche, Tesla, McKenna, and so on
@guitaoist Hey. About my message the other day asking you to tell me the significance of my birthday, I know that was a very general question. But can you please start off on the Gemini? Cheers.
Why are humans so important to the scheme of things.
That's pure ego...
