For the longest time, I thought the least comparable or connected things on the face of the planet would be the Slav Philosopher Slavoj Zizek and the devastatingly beautiful hipster band from Georgia, Neutral Milk Hotel. And then the lead the singer of that band married the woman who made an entire movie about Zizek, as well as another documentary featuring Zizek as one of the main speakers. Fuckin' hell. Sometimes the wildest things are the most akin.
