  • Dude thanks so freaking much for this!! I've been reviewing this pedal from several covers and videos....now I know I definitely want to buy it!!!!!!! THANKSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent sound man !

  • which is better, digitech rp255 or vox tone lab st?????

  • @D4V1D811 the tonelab, the amp models are much more natural sounding

  • can you write your tonelab settings? please

  • @rodri042 yes you can, you can edit and write any custom settings you want

  • Can you write or send me your settings (librarian file)?

  • O_O The most incredible sound I have ever heard from a Vox Tonelab ST!

  • Thanks!

  • directly through headphone does the unit sound ???

  • Hey man did vox make improvment on the High gain setting ??? i heard that the other tonelab had trouble reaching a metal territory . does this thing have a lot of gain ???

and a good crunch for heavy metal?

  • Sounds like you downloaded the Guitar Pro tab and played along with the drum track.

  • no clue on the settings, no effects tho other than some very light reverb

  • what are your settings? ... which model ... which eq sets ... which effects?

  • lol i was hearing the song while whaching the fight in the background lol

  • i have the same t-shirt!

  • Hi man! can you send me preset =) kenaret@mail.ru

  • amazing sound what interface do you use?

  • Your comments and video made my mind up and my tonelab is due to arrive on Tuesday. Thanks gif38! yo' the man!

Brilliant Metallica tone. Other reviewers have also said it is the simplicity and ease of programming / dialling in the sound that makes it so user friendly.

Do you have to put it direct in your guitar pathway or plug it into the effects loop of a valve amp? I presume, but perhaps incorrectly, you put it in line after your guitar and select the clean channel. I have the loop also??

  • Hey mate.I`m looking to buy this processor. The big question is can i run distortion( or amp modeling) and wah at the same time?

  • @ViLLZzZz

Check out voxamps.com forum. This fully explains the use of distortion and phasing in / out using the expression pedal. Wah however cannot be used simultaneously as they are both on the same control selection knob it's distortion or wah. To get that exact combination you would need to add a wah or a distortion pedal in line with the tonelab. You could add modulation effects or delay to either wah or distortion. Amp models can be used

  • i like how u have UFC in the background, great playing man

  • Great playing man. You nailed it and the tone is awesome. Was thinking of getting a tone lab, I'm not thinking any more.. You just convinced me to buy one.

  • not that I'm aware of. only volume and wah I think.

  • is it possible to change your own saved settings with help of the expression pedal?

  • sorry dude, its really hard to recall settings because of how its saved, and also I played 2 guitar parts with 2 separate tones.

  • what are your settings bro?

  • think I just downloaded it from the Vox website but yes you need it so you can record direct.

  • does this FX includes the driver in the package?

You need to install the driver to PC to make it work right?

  • Nice Fight in the Background...

  • ufc in the background great

  • Awesome sound man, hard to believe it's the tonelab. Bad ass bro *****

  • can u tell me the settings of this sound, sounds so good :D thank u

  • Awesome! I might pick this up, sounds 100x better than amplitube

  • Ohh, I see! :D

  • im going to buy one ^^

  • After looking through scores of Digitech RP355 videos, I couldn't find one where the tone didn't sound overly digitized and processed. I'm so glad I found out about the Tonelab before I made the purchase...the sound is so rich by comparison.

  • how is the wah on the tonelab?

  • hey thanks for you response..one more question..Ive downloaded the audacity but it is recording with my laptop mic...how do I get it to record from the USB from the tonelab? Thanks again

  • hey nice tone..what software do you use to record to your computer? thanx

  • Thanks! I use Audacity, its free

  • killer song I learned the whole thing in one watch

  • you thinkthe tonelab is better or the boss ME-70?

  • I havent found a multi effects pedal that sounds as good as this does yet! I have tried the GT10, POD XT and X3 Live, and the higher end Digitechs. This smokes them all. I can only imagine how good the full size tonelabs are. I run this thing thru the board at band practice too and its freaking awesome! Beats lugging my Mesa rig around too!

  • @gif38 but i think that the me -70 or the x3 live have more effects.. aint that right?

  • Yes they do have more effects, but for more realistic tone you cant beat the Tonelab. I play a fairly dry signal as it is. All I need is a little reverb and delay every once and a while. I swear this thing sounds like "Mesa in a can" lol!

  • @gif38 damn i really dunno what to do!

  • @gif38 awesome cover dude!!! where did u get the backing track from?

  • @alexmetallicaZFC13 tonelab. It sounds much fuller and realistic

  • wht are ur settings? killer tone

  • Thanks, I have changed the settings since then tho.

  • SWEET BALLS!

I'm digging the tone, your playing, the UFC, The Esp

  • nice playing, and the sound you got out of that pedal was sick! i wanna get the tonelab st even more now haha

  • Nice video!

Love how UFC is playing in the background.

  • Thanks! I wasnt even thinking about it being on

  • which ptach are you using ? Or did you create your own ???

    but very good playing

I´ve got the tonelab st and it really sounds great right? i love it

  • Thanks dude! Yes, its my own setting. Its great for recording direct.

  • Finally something decent enough to show that this st is an excellent unit. alot other demos on youtube dont really justify this unit. but not yours

  • guitar- beast

    drums- fail

I dont understand, its a recording but the drums are off.

  • Thanks. Guitar is all me but the tracks drums I didnt do.

  • Great Playing and Great Sound

    * * * * * (Five Star Detected for Awesome Guitarist)

  • Much appreciated!!

  • great playing man hey man im having a problem with my st the notes dont ring for long and have no sustain specially pinched harmonics you know what the problem is the sound kinda dissapears helpp

  • you need more gain

    OR

the guitar is not good enough.

  • My gain is around 8 or 9, I rarely max it out. Check your noise gate setting. If its too high it can cut off the sustain. Also check your level knob next to the output jack. I keep mine half turned up so it sounds right in my headphones. Im sure your guitar is fine.

  • Hello! Great Vid!

Are you using line out or USB to record?

  • USB straight to PC

  • Nice sound... I have Tonelab SE.. got oncevery nice sound like that out of it but lost it somehow for ever :/ can't get it anymore.. can you tell what amp settings u used for this?

  • Ultimate fighter? Lmao, Roy Nelson shld not of won, Brandon shld of, anyways nice tone man, I'm gettin this pedal for Xmas now I'm rly excited, metallics rocks!!!

  • lol, yea I have no Idea what was on in the background, I was watching something else earlier. thanks tho

  • Great cover - awesome tone!

  • Thanks alot!

  • Nice work man. That guitar guitar looks sick too.

  • awesome cover bro and awesome guitar! 5 stars dude!
