Wait, but everyone in Skuldafn temple has already done the main quest... where you had to use a claw to open the Bleak Falls Barrow door.

I recommend that when it glitches because there is a bug, load from your earliest auto save or save, and then do it again. That should help take the bug off for all glitches. :)

@portugaltheman6 On your system options system settings>memory> hit x or y (I forget which) on the hard drive overview then clear system cache. It just erases temporary files and stuff.

UPDATE: I finally got it to work! For those experiencing the diamond claw/door glitch, this method works!

1. Backtrack out of the area until it autosaves (you don't have to go all the way outside).

2. Turn off system, turn back on and go to system settings>memory>clear cache.

3. Run Skyrim, load that AUTOSAVE.

4. Return to the door, enter two incorrect combinations (and attempt to unlock it both times), then enter the correct Fox, Moth, Dragon then activate the claw.

Worked for me.

There's a bug on the xbox 360 with the door not opening despite a correct combination, just making it known. Tried loading previous state, restarts and clearing hdd cache...I'm stuck in Skuldafn until a patch for it is issued.

moral of the story: SAVE BEFORE YOU DO THIS QUEST!!!!

@PooInAsHoe369 Go to your inventory and select the claw, you'll see it previewed on the right, move the picture around and you can see the answer in symbols on the claw itself. It's the same for all the claws.
