The Nationals just need some time to work things out - they're a new team and they'll get to be decent-good one in time. Why? Because unlike the Expos they actually have a fanbase! lol!
Anyway, nice park, but Miller Park (of the Brewers) is still the nicest in my opinion (not counting the classics)
Nats park is awful. $40 bleacher seats 500 feet from the diamond. $300 for one seat behind the plate? I can get the same seat at Camden yards (best ballpark in the world) to see the O's for $75. I prefer not to be relegated to a seat where I cannot see the game. The park is too big, sight lines terrible unless you are a millionaire. No federal employee can afford tickets, hence the stadium is empty.
I just visited DC for the second time this year and second time of my life. I've been to Nationals Park both times and I must say, while the team isn't so hot, scoring a total of 0 runs in the 2 games I went to, but stadium is tremendous. I love the scoreboard (and the Five Guys; best burgers on the East Coast).
But you were wrong when you said 'all seats angled towards HP. I did sit in the only seats not angled towards HP the first time I went. Check 'em out, they are...

@TehSmellulare The Expos had a great fanbase until the lockout/strike of 94-95 ruined what was the teams best season ever.

That really is a gorgeous ballpark.
I hope the Nats get good in the near future, because that stadium is fit for a championship-caliber team.

hey, great job, you obviously put a lot of effort into this. I'm going later this year (I'm from Philly), so, I'll be sure to look this over again.
