Anybody serious about cigars must check out this deal thompson cigar has going on at the moment, for $20 I just now got a ton of various cigars that was completely more than worth it! Thompsoncigar-PH16.Co.Cc
A simpler way to explain it would be,if you use cheap chemical fertilizers you get a dark ash and bad taste and burn qualities. If you spend the money on high quality organic fertilizer, you get the white ash and a much better taste.
its a pity most americans don't get to taste cubans because they are the superior try smoking american cigars or european wants after having a romeo y julieta or a Cohiba you just can't do it, to all you americans who love cigars get to cuba at least once
I was smoking an old montecristo white Figurado i think. A few times when i took a puff, i had a light sulfur taste. I did not use matches. what would cause this?
lol yeah definatley reading it from a prop card or screen, look at the direction of his face and eyes closely, anyway good vid there is no way he could have memorised all that info to keep the vid short
That's a good question and I have no idea! I am trying to think of some significant date that I could tie my initiation into cigar smoking, but I can't think of one. If I had to pull a number out of a hat, I would say 15 years or so.
Well, not specifically. I mean, everyone will die from something, but I don't think that smoking 2 cigars a day elevates my risk of cancer substantially. Of course, the more one smoke, the more risk they incur. So, like anything else, moderation is the key.
Yes, stogie is a nickname for cigar. In the mid-1900's, "stogie" referred to a cheap cigar, but it can be used more generically. Sometimes we call cigars "sticks," or "smokes."
I like all varieties of premium hand made cigars. I enjoy lighter cigars sometimes and heavier cigars at other times. Depends on my mood and whether I've smoked a lot of cigars that day.

@graveforest666 Yes, I've smoked quite a few Lar Tetens. They are pretty expensive, but I have enjoyed many of them.

Usually, sulfur or ammonia are an example in incompletely fermented tobacco. This should dissipate with more time in the humidor.

There has been discussion that habanos typically always have a gunmetal grey ash as opposed to any other cigar. Is this solely attributed to soil?
TomOwenM 2 years ago
The majority of Habanos do have very dark ashes and, yes, that is attributable to the soil and the amount of calcium and potassium.

I have a feeling you've been asked this many times before in your other videos, but how cigars on average do you smoke a day?
Deuce1566 2 years ago
I smoke around 2 a day. More on special occasions, less on "regular" days of the week.

Are you a mild to medium smoker or a more darker richer smoker?

Is there a way I can enjoy a darker richer stick without feeling sick to my stomach?
silvereagle2061 2 years ago
Sugar seems to help with nausea. Just enough to keep the symptoms at bay. If you like Cola's you can give it a try. Any sugared drink that you like.
docstogiefresh 2 years ago
sugar definitely does help alot. i also recommend not smoking one on an empty stomach, it makes a big difference

I will try that, thanks

i heard that ageing has a connection also. is this true?
Glivity 2 years ago
I haven't heard that, but I suppose it is possible. I haven't run across any information about how aging affects the ash color.
