for those who can't play L.A NOIRE due to lag of graphic performance you can play it by doing this:

1)Go to services in Windows Vista/7 and disable Windows Event Log

2)Restart your PC to take effect

3)Go to your game shortcut on your desktop and add this "-str" without the quotes.

so it should look something like this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\L.A. Noire\LANoire.exe" -str

4)You can now play the game with High Resolution graphics!

Yes you can wander around but there isn't much to do. The visuals are good but storyline and gameplay is slow and uninteresting after awhile. I expect this game to be heavily reduced in price within a couple months.

I just wish they would make another game in modern times, or try near future (like in Ghost Recon Future Soldier) where one would have access to today's prototype cars and weapons or gadgets.

I'm still wondering why you couldn't use the phone as a music player whenever you were on foot in GTA4, it was modern enough to have it in.

(Tell me you don't miss the jetpack and the Harrier from San Andreas... Imagine that coming back.)

@tomroxelf My games on PC on max settings look just as good as they do on consoles, like GTA IV, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Command and Conquer. I don't understand why people think PC always has superior graphics when I never even notice a small difference, even when settings are on extreme(or whatever the highest is).

@tomroxelf My PC is more than good enough to run those games I listed and I am running them at max settings with no problems. I just can never tell the difference. There really isn't any. I like PC games, for their exclusives and ability to mod, but I don't see the point in getting them for graphics when they look the same as consoles.
