The pantomime of the flute is perfectly acceptable; you are singing an aria that would otherwise be staged and this is not an audition so I say go for it. As others have said, it IS on the wrong side so that's kind of funny haha. One other thing, if you DO choose to pantomime something never, ever, EVER suddenly just "drop" the object. It's very distracting; pretend like it's always in your hand. A freaking beautiful instrument you have though man--not the flute, but the voice ;)

Very fine singing and playing. Miming playing the flute was a bit much, though.

Here is an aspect of guitar playing that doesn't get much press - but essential for professional guitarists, that is, the art of accompaniment!
And.... Michael is playing his own transcription the orchestral parts. Brilliant.
